Onto the next of the Tynie triple header.

I don't like must win, but a game that really needs to result in 3 points to continue the recent revival.

May not be pretty, no Naismith, but I think we have enough to take this fairly comfortably 2-0.

Expect McLean to play some part, perhaps Bozanic to come in as well and release Djoum further up

If Naismith was playing would be tempted to rest Berra but will need his leadership. MacLean will defo feature

Absolute Scenes

Should be reasonably comfortable - no Kamara I think? Miller is always a danger, but defensively we should be okay.

Expect us to win this one, but may not be as easy as we think. Play Djoum as number ten behind two strikers, Bozanic to come in and we should be pretty strong

I think MacLean will thrive on this, having a decent striker playing alongside him as opposed to being by himself. Hopefully see the MacLean we saw at the start of the season.

Looking forward to it.

Garuccio binned?

For me consistency at the back is priceless.

Same back 4. Changes to be made surround creating and converting chances

Dont know if I'd be starting Brandon again quite yet. I'd still prefer Smith out on the right with Dikamona in the centre. I'd also keep Ben ahead of Mitchell. Can't say I disagree too much apart from that

Any win will do, but I'm going for 2-0 to us. I agree that Maclean should thrive with Vanecek sharing the load, and I think we'll see Souttar and Keena on the park at some point this week.

Although there's no guarantee that Maclean will start, maybe Clare will end up partnering Vanecek.

Same for me.

Be good for Brandon to get a run out. Also be good to get Souttar on the bench.

Dundee replay is Tuesday 29 Jan.

We were just looking at this week for replay as we play Kilmarnock next Friday.

Tough game this without Naismith and Haring. Could really do with Cochrane playing imo. Maybe see Keena get a wee run out too?

Though we need to rotate players, less experiments the better as far as I am concerned. Next few weeks are cementing our place in the top 6, getting close to and beyond the others and into European contention.

My team would be:

                        Zlamal

Smith Shaughnessy Berra Garuccio

                        Djoum

 Morrison      Bozanic      Mitchell

                Vanecek  Clare

Zlamal > Doyle

Djoum was excellent on Sunday in the defensive midfield role.

Bozanic deserves a start.

Hopefully being dropped will have been the kick up the bum Mitchell needs.

Morrison could do with a run of games to get his confidence up and to work on his final ball.

Thats the worst team I’ve seen on here for a while. Back four going forward should be Smith, Souttar, Berra and Garrucio. With Souttar out Shaughnessy or Dikamona slot in. Mitchell doesn’t deserve to start at the moment. Morrison is just needing a goal for him to take off so to have him on the bench against the weakest team in the league doesn’t make sense to me. If not Morrison then Mulraney should be ahead of Mitchell, think he deserves a chance based on recent sub appearances. Is Brandon even fit?

Like look of that team altho I’d swap bozanic with djoum and drop Clare back one position alongside djoum

can change it to two up front later in the game if required

The gaffer will play the same team as yesterday with Bozanic in to hold the midfield allowing Djoum to fill in for Naismith.

Points to ponder:

•Think we'll see Keena get some game time.

•Souttar to return.

•People expecting to hammer Dundee, will not be happy.

At least one of these predictions will be true.

Think we will win by the odd goal but will be close

Personally I think there is only an 85% chance of one of those predictions being true. ?

By the way, I noticed a few unused Premium seats in the new main yesterday....

2-0 Hearts.

Back to the Wheatfield, which is 25 years old this year I believe. Yes, a whole group of seats behind me were empty in Premium.

Dont think I can cope with watching Morrison tie himself in knots again for an hour.  His decision making isn’t improving.

Might be next season. Check out his two periods at Stirling Albion. He is doing enough for his continued selection at the moment, in my opinion. Dundee could be a perfect game for him although he seems to drop in performance level when Naismith is out.

I'd sooner see Mulraney get some of the game time morrison appears to be wasting. Same mistakes time after time.

Not sure it's wasted game time. I really do sometimes feel people overlook that Morrison has only played around 20 first team games for us. He may need to go out on loan again depending on what happens in the summer. Meantime he's getting valuable experience

His lack of end product is a concern. But he's still young and his work rate is first class. He might not ultimately be the answer, but I still wouldn't consider him to be wasting his opportunity

He's only 19. Not 20 until July
