Seems much more comfortable and confident in that sweeper role of a back 3 as a opposed to a right back in a 4 and a wing back in a 3/5. Been very consistent this season. If possible, i’d try and get him an additional 2/3/4 years on his current deal now. Should give Souttar a new 2 year deal with a multi million pound release clause so if a team is interested, they know exactly what is required, instead of all this tapping up which happens these days and the low balling bids that are used to unsettle the player and club.
