“Giving youngsters a chance” you know, like sending them out on loan to give them first team experience to develop enough to make it into the hearts team.

Absolute tool. He’d be the first to lay into Levein for using too many youngsters.

And there are those who will have us believe MS is a good pundit.

An irrelevant mouth on a stick who angers quickly when disagreed with. A throbber of the highest order.

Two have been cover for CB as we don't have youth to play in that position. Without injury I doubt we would have seen them.

Naismith is a no brainer, who by all accounts a deal was on the table with Norwich.

Mitchell a bit meh this season.

Stephen McManus has been appointed Celtic U18 coach and has vowed to save them millions by getting young players to make the grade at Celtic. Much the same as every age group coach says throughout football.

Ewan Murray questioned Stephen McManus and his claim that he hopes to try and save Celtic millions by bringing through top quality youngsters, now he’s their U18s coach.

Then MS came back with this utter garbage.

Which of course would give us the context.

Depends if that youngster is up to the job. Case by case basis not one size fits all

Yep, we've loaned for positions we don't have many options at.

Over in Glasgow though, the young lad Johnson starts to get a game so Celtic go out and sign Weah on loan and spend more millions on another striker.

By using the word hypocrite it sounds to me that Mikey Stewart is having a pop at Ewan Murray, not Hearts.

He's really not. He cannot and will not accept or even listen to a differing point of view. He won't even let others finish their point without shouting over them angrily.

****** arsewomble of nuclear proportions. An embarrassment in a Hearts shirt, too.

By referencing the club Ewan supports and their record of signing loan players.

When it comes to bringing youth players through, Ewan has a point. Michael does not.

Ewan Murray was slating Celtic for just loaning players rather than bring players through the academy and MS pointed out that Hearts are doing the same.

Not or as bad as it mad made out in the OP.

Doesn't bother you that in doing that, he's had another boring, petty swipe at Hearts?

The Treasurer

Even his biggest critic (possibly MS) could not say that failing to give young players a chance is one of Levein's faults.

Stewart time and again shows his petty childish side when talking about Hearts in general and Levein in particular.

This the same Michael Stewart that went on loan from Manchester United to both Nottingham Forrest and Hearts? Hypocrite indeed!

Cochrane, Morrison, Godinho, McDonald and even Berra are all players to have  come through the youth system that have played in the league this season. So his point is incorrect.

Royal Antwerp too IIRC. He got sent back to Man U early from there and Forest for discipline issues I believe.

If it wasn't for the loan system, 3/4 of Michael's career would have been cleaning boots and playing reserve games.

in a 13 year career, he played 188 games.

188.

Barely counts as a football career.

Would be interesting to see how many of them were played as a loanee.

He isn't though, he's having a swipe at the twitter Jambo.  I'm not sure why you and others are taking it so personally.

I agree he’s a bellend but if someone posting a tweet you should at least give the full context. I’m sure if it had been a Hibs fan he would have pointed out their loans too.

Celtic could say the same with Forrest, Johnston, Teirney, Ralston & McGregor as well as Rogic and Ajer.

Yes, he's simply asking why Euan is bumping his gums about Celtic when the club he supports does exactly the same.

I wouldn’t spend a penny on the thoughts of Michael Stewart.........

Ironically Stewart was given a chance as a youth at his parent club but he didn’t take it.

Then he was sent out on loan to smaller clubs that meant he was blocking the youths at these clubs from  getting their chance.

In fact, you do quite regularly.

PS Do you practice in front of the mirror?

Any time I see Stewart it immediately brings back memories of him getting sent off at Hamilton then skiteing on his fat erse in the tunnel.  Comedy Gold!!
