Must win game for City?

Amazing by Liverpool so far still unbeaten and very few goals conceded.

Not a must win at this stage but if the Scouse come through this unscathed then another big test successfully passed

Can’t help but see myself wanting a Liverpool win here, keeps the league interesting. Man City are still to hit full strength this season in my opinion they will get stronger so be good to see Liverpool produce a little bit of a gap to keep things exciting

Here we go......can the title go back to Liverpool, Englands best club this season ?...at last !!

A win will give Liverpool a great chance but City are at home and have a formidable record...3 weeks ago they would have been odds on to win and they have not gone downhill that much

What I've watched so far is a game that, if played at a ground like Hamilton, would be getting the pish ripped out of it for being the 'SPL'.

Frantic stuff, misplaced passes, not much football played. It's English Premier League football so it will be classed differently.

Fxxx the SPFL

Liverpool playing really deep trying force city to push up and catch them out with a quick move a goal from city might make it a better game pretty poor opening 15 minutes

Plus both teams don't really want the ball, both pressing high up but really wanting the other to open up. This will come down to what centre back feck up

Actually how did that NOT go in

This is ****ing garbage. Borderline getting it turned off.

Reading through the BBC text and come across this weapon;

Quote

Johnny Magrinho: Already it’s clear how City’s fans are going to act tonight. Booing every time any Liverpool player gets the ball. What a joke. Pathetic behaviour. Create a hostile environment by chanting and supporting your own team not berating the opposition. Pathetic.

I don't think football's for our Johnny.

Liverpool off the post! Then a scramble and it almost goes over the line again

Without goal line technology that might have been as a goal.

He’d have a ball on here.

Think that was over the line btw.

No goal apparently like half a mm of the ball wasn’t over the line. Amazing clearance by Stones though.

More in than out...travesty. For me, that should be classed as a goal

The whole ball has to be over the line. It isn't...

Whole ball over the line is the only way to judge it fairly. How would you judge if a ball is more over the line than not? That's for philosophy students to decide not football referees.

this is a case of the error tolerance coming into play.

the good thing is that the technology is being accepted when it was most

probably fully past the line.

I know...just don’t like it, when  a baw hair is still touching the line...if a winger runs down the line like that, the linesman flags all day long.

Before goal-line tech was brought in, that would’ve probably been given.

I know and, while I agree with you, how on earth could a ref make a split second decision without a totally unambiguous rule?

Just out of interest, is the ball not out to touch, if it is not 100% over the line?

if so, we’ve been calling ‘out’ ‘ all our lives for balls that are in ?
