What was the previous 50/50? If you dont mind me asking Sir

He knew McGinn was leaving 2 months before the January transfer window. Left at end of season. Knew of a young midfield player coming from Hamilton.

Got McInnes wrong. Was convinced he was gone and someone else left he was sure was staying the wrong ones.

McDonald's not a winger....

Anytime I saw him last season he was either wide right or left. May not be a natural winger but it’s where he’s been played

According to Wikipedia he signed a 2 year contract in 2016 . Then got a years extension at the start of this season

So his contract is up this summer. Is he not featuring quite prominently for them at the top of League One?

I wonder how the attraction of playing in Scotland measures up now? We're still a bigger club than Luton, but if they win promotion again I can't see a guy in Lee's position wanting to get out. Even if they don't, bigger clubs will be noticing him.

Too slow. We need to add a bit of pace to our team where we can if possible..

Yeah, he’d have to weigh up the opportunity to play for Hearts vs the likelihood of playing in the Championship. Olly’s decision was easier as he probably thought he’d be battling relegation in League One.

You get it. People wanting Charlie Adam? PACE

I think the Fulton comparisons are about right. It’s not like we didn’t attack with pace and Tempo when he was in our team, and he was far from quick. Adam would be fine.

Rumour in Sunderland is that they are signing a central defender from Burnley on loan. Jimmy Dunne?

Good chance eh? As long as we don't take Jack Hendry!!!!

Wouldn't disagree with that. However we got a younger hungrier player in Fulton (possibly).

Another 30 something, is that the way for us? Perhaps, no one has a crystal ball, but the 3 30 somethings have all missed many minutes, and alas Hughes is simply now a backroom member of staff in disguise.

Yeah, it wouldn’t be without that doubt at the back of most people’s minds. I remember one of Fulton’s very early games for us, possibly his first or second one. Motherwell away in the evening. He virtually never moved from the centre circle.

SF was chunky when he arrived from Falkirk. It was a bit later when Salvatori/Cameron/McCann were added. SF was a great user of the ball

I'm firmly on the fence, so much so, splinters are being removed from my nipples rather than arse. It could be a master stroke. Got to admit I have not really followed the player, not in a position to judge his character, Levein clearly has fond memories though

Yes. That game was my first look at Rousset, Fulton, Eskilsson and Bruno. I was a teenager... :(

He honestly barely moved from the centre circle. By the time we had completed the 1998 cup winning squad, he was still not doing a lot of sprinting but he was feeding sublime passes and through balls to the likes of Cameron and McCann and they were doing all the running at defences. My point is merely that if you are good enough you are fast enough, and it won’t restrict the rest of the team to moving slowly.

Correct mate.

Thankfully he made a sprint in the first 60 seconds on 16 May 1998 ?

Fulton covered a lot more ground (no obvious jokes please) than people give him credit for . Used to think he was going to internally combust .

One of many , much abused players .

Fantastic player for us .

Adam ? Not excited but will make no judgement until he is in the team

I'd take Adam. He's a very good player and you can't have too many of those

I was a massive Fulton fan. He was such an intelligent player. He was a big part of reason why Cameron was so effective for us

Who is in for him? Plenty of rumour and innuendo, I was putting that down partly to wishful thinking for some. He will be missed.

He still gets a game for Man City, no chance this would happen.
