Every time I look in a mirror, I'm convinced I see a fat person.

That's body dismorphia. I have that. I see a handsome guy but other people just see a big *******.

But they're right.

People in transition will still menstruate until hormones/surgery stop it.

But don't let facts get in the way of some good old fashioned JKB transphobia.

Transition being the key word there.

Its scientifically inaccurate to say men can menstruate.

I would be annoyed at this being taught to my children.

Just as I would if they were teaching my kids the world is flat.

Now any lads going through this will go untreated as they'll just assume it's their period and nothing to worry about.

Absolutely no issue with that if it is taught with context and to children old enough to understand the concept.

Probably won’t be though. Cue loads of confused boys wondering where to insert a tampon.

If a woman is turning into a man then she is still a woman, So its not right men can't have periods. Because a woman isn't a man and surgery doesn't change that.

Just waiting for some clever chap to claim 9 months maternity leave on the grounds of discrimination. Then we'll see the government sort this nonsense out. Hmmmm. maybe not!

It's not accurate- and no amount of wishful thinking rewrites what is true.

Presenting drivel like this is like teaching creationism .

It also makes a mockery of a serious issue-by all means educate about trans, but by stretching the truth beyond reality discredits it

Thanks for the idea - I could do with nine months off!

We get employment lawyers in every year talking to senior management about ‘discrimination’ and employment law (which they can’t do with a straight face, despite the fact it keeps them in a job). I’ll be telling my kids to inform any future employers on their first day that they’re bisexual Muslims so they can’t get sacked - maybe they can some extra holidays chucked in too and never have to work.

I got extra time off on account of being Jewish (which I am) but non practicing. My boss was like "you taking the piss Marv. ?" I was too chicken shit to admit I was. To prove that I was Jewish I even offered to show him my circumcision  he politely refused
