Can someone please ask the club why it is continually necessary for the fans to individually intervene in a variety of matters to instruct the club as to how to do stuff and such likes?     The fans are obviously very busy people and it's about time the club learned how to do stuff and take decisions for themselves.

Cheers.

Ah the bottomless pit of layman experise at our disposal. Just think how much better off Richard Branson et al would have been if they had that resource at thier disposal.

Cochrane got an ankle injury yesterday. Was due to come off on 60th minute and got injured on the 59th....

Expects all players to be fit for resumption after winter break.

Didn't someone say we were bringing in vanacek plus another two??

If they close section N then there will naturally be more demand for the supply of seats in the Roseburn when the weegies come to town.  Win win.

I'm not quite sure if the AGM is a place to discuss potential transfer targets.

The AGM was fairly predictable.

Ann focused on the year on year growth in revenue. Looking to increase this season to £13.8m. Further spending on the stand includes £0.8m on the changing rooms (Jun 19, but could be as early as March), £0.6m on the 3rd floor lounge (Jun 19), £1.6m on the 2nd floor (19/20 season) and ongoing refurbishment of £0.5m.

She was confident that repayment of the loan facility would allow the club to be handed over debt free. The cash flow projections see it repaid by Oct 19.

Ann had to field the usual questions on cup ticketing arrangements, before a series of questions on unacceptable behaviour by both home and away fans. There were the usual placatory words, but I sense that nothing will change in respect of away fans. On the other hand she sounded as if section N is close to being closed.

I asked that Craig give an assessment of where we were football wise and where we were going. At that point he took to the lectern and fielded a raft of questions about Livingston and the recent performances. He put just about everything down to injuries, and assured everyone that we should have a full squad available once again by the end of January and expects us to return to the early season form.

As an 'agent' you would think he would know who the targets are, if there are any.

Reading between the lines of what Ann said in that article and bits it says about 4 other clubs will be announced, it sounds like the other 4 clubs will not be in US, as Ann talks about access to sponsorship and players worldwide. Also the fact we are getting fee suggests someone came to us with this.

Not  lot of actual football stuff covered. What was:

Still can’t get his head around Friday night, criticised Berra and Smith, as senior pros, for the collapse after second goal

Injuries to strikers main problem this season, means they cant play the way they want to ie pressing in last third, Wighton injured in training on Thursday. Asked why Cochrane hasn’t featured much, missed part of ore-season and has had a number of injuries since. Injured again last night. Would play him if he was fit.

Injuries to Berra, Souttar and Uche unheard of before.

Needs fans to get behind team in next three games. Confident that we will soon be winning regularly again. All current injured players should be back playing by end of January.

Youth invitational tournament to be announced later today along with relationships with four US clubs.

Non-football highlights:

changing rooms ready by end March

either sending third and final warning to section (N?) or just going to close it. Need to fix our own fans first, lot of damage done at Fir Park recently, can’t restrict OF allocation this season because agreement already in place. Likely to reduce their allocation next season.

Not correct. He was asked if they would all be fit by end of next window ie 31/1. Said yes.

No. He doesn't know why that happened, only that the players lost their focus. It was discussed with the players yeaterday when they reviewed the video analysis.

He said he is struggling to find a system that works for the players that he currently has available to him. Naisy should be back on Saturday. He planned that Cochrane would play too, but is now unlikely following his injury yesterday.

No he put that down to a deriliction of duties by the players, esp senior players, Berra and Smith got a mention. Pretty much confirmed Hughes is done.

Laughed when he said he didn't want to criticise individual players, apart from the ones he already had. Was disappointed in Ann's response to my question about reducing the of allocation; seemingly we have to do it before the start of the season? ?

He was amusing, also with the youth coach from  West Lothian!

Allocation does seem to be set in stone each season. I think she will act next season, after doing more to sort out our own problems.

Interesting comment as well re cctv not being enough to convict someone. Needs a complaint and a second witness for corroboration. Explains why little action is taken/possible.

Spending on the Tynecastle Redevelopment Programme reached £20.7m at 30 November, up from £15m a year ago.

Club resources - £6.7m

Benefactors - £6.75m

FOH - £3m

Supporter initiatives - £2m

Loan facility - £1.75m

Lease funding - £0.5m

The most interesting figure in that was the club's contribution having gone up from £4.75m at the last AGM to £6.7m now. That suggests that without the costs of the development there should be the best part of £2m to invest elsewhere (like the team).

So from this did Ann make the decision before a ball was kicked, that the team would not be challenging and attracting Hearts fans to buy tickets in the Roseburn stand for OF games???

She never mentioned the coin thrower wrt closing section N.

Some people in the section have already been banned for unacceptable behaviour. She is deciding between issuing a third final letter or just taking action.

Ridiculous if true.

Why? Season tickets were down on last year and people were openly saying they wouldn’t go back until CL was gone. Hardly likely to encourage her to take financial risks.

It's ridiculous, Dave, because no one...not even Ann Budge...could tell where we would be at the business end of this season. If we were vying for the League and the last Cat A game was in huge demand, would AB say " sorry, deal was done at the start of the season ", really ?

Ridiculous is an apt word to use.

Maybe Dave - but I don't go for her spin that she promised them the full stand before the season started, so she couldn't change that.

She should have told them they were guaranteed 2 sections, and if more became available closer to the game they would get them.
