Bob Loblaw
In terms of Uche being in a boot, I'd assume that's just to give it maximum protection. He's doing gym work etc, so once that comes off and he's comfortable on it he'll likely be good to go shortly after. Both back in January would be a big boost, especially up top. We'd go from over reliance on Maclean to having Naismith, Vanecek, Uche, Maclean and Wighton as options.
HMFC1-5
Spoke to Uche on Sunday and he said the boot is coming off this week and he would be back for Jan definitely, looking forward to pairing up with DV!

The big front man was ruled out for five months with a broken foot suffered during a 50-50 challenge with Motherwell 'keeper Trevor Carson earlier in the season. The direct result was a goal for Hearts and a 1-0 win, but the cost was great after it was revealed Ikpeazu had fractured his foot. Craig Levein explained they were unable to diagnose the injury due to it's nature, but it was the equivalent of a car driving over someone's foot. Doc Rob
I posted on another thread that I think he had a Lisfranc injury. There’s a Wikipedia page on it if you’re interested, but basically it’s a disruption of the bone & ligament complex in the midfoot, which can be hard to spot without weight-bearing views (which is how Uche’s injury was diagnosed). Yeah, I know what caused it and that is being classed as broken but surely it can't of been that trendy break that Rooney and Beckham got. Must have been much more severe for 5 months out.
