Nothing but giving the ball away and commiting fouls

Good one, slate the boy when he's just back from a lengthy spell out injured.

Bazzas right boot

He had a mare.

But, dunno why "fans" feel compelled to slate our players so personally.

Tragic.

...a bit disco

He appears to be trying too hard to recapture his pre-injury form.

Could do with relaxing a bit and letting it come back naturally.

Thats the profession he's chosen which entitles every fan to an opinion on it, if you or marcus dont like it dont visit fans forums

Sick of injuries and lack of fitness being a kop out for players and fans these days

Godinho being out injured has nothing to do with him being a rubbish football player at Hearts

He's miles off the pace right now. Looks like a different player to the highly promising youngster we saw last season. Needs dropped back into the reserves.

He did have a poor game today but he is just young and only 4 games back after a long injury.  The lad probably doesnt play today if we didnt have to use Smith at centre half and im sure given more training and game time he will come good. Also tynecastle is a hard place to play when as a young player you dont start the match well and the fans are right on top of you.

Kimo on prior form your not a judge of a football player, he is young has been thrown in a few times when not match fit. Hopefully finds last season's form prior to his injury.

So you thought he would come back into the squad and pick up where he left off?

Being out of form doesn't make him rubbish. He just needs time to get up to speed and for people to lay off a bit he didn't mess up that bad he cost us a point did he?

He looked like a guy out for a lengthy period of time with only a handful of games to his name since.

Funny that, eh?

Ministry of Football

To be fair, when Souttar or Dunne is back, Smith will go back to normal wide position and Godinho won't start.

Very much so. Liked the look of Jamie Brandon. He had a bit shift about him too

Godinho looks like a Liam Smith standard to me

Some of our so called fans are embarrassing. Always like to pick someone to have a dig at. **** sake. He’s played 2/3 games in last 10 or so months!

This!!! It didn't help him that in the latter stages he was used as the get out ball, then no support came near him

Godinho is absolutely mince and that fact has been evident for quite some time now.

He has only just returned from injury bud, before his injury he was playing well and people where saying good things about the kid. There is no doubt he has not been anywhere near the player he was before he got injured but most young players wont come back from a long term injury and produce there best form straight away. It just does not happen.

Agree with this, Brandon could defend and also had some attacking skill

I’m perhaps being a bit harsh but he was awful against Aberdeen, cross aside he was pretty bad against Rangers and then dreadful again today. I’m not convinced he was that brilliant before his injury either. Hopefully he can discover some form.

He looked scared to do anything going forward and wasn't very composed at the back either. Prefer Smith at RB as he can actually create something.

That's the spirit, pull apart a young lad who has had nothing more than an off day.

Hes excellent and will show this when he's back to full fitness and confidence post injury

Poor game today. Misplaced passes and some poor defending.  Gave away a couple of really needless fouls in dangerous places.

His decision-making is rather poor at times. I'm all for players being committed but I've noticed that he often gives away fouls for  challenges that he just doesn't need to make. The penalty against Aberdeen is a good example.

He was rotten before he got injured

How long does it take to get back to where you think he should be?

I agree not his best game.

obvious that he was a bit like a fish out of water at wing back.

He is a good defender.  Today his weakness/ inexperience showed.

midfield was crowded and he couldn't find colleagues in space.

He was not alone there.

Young guy just back from long term injury and just finding his feet again. He’s not made it yet but he’s been given opportunities, development is a long term thing, not just over 2 or 3 games. He did well at times last season so we know he is capable of better. Cut the laddie some slack.

Wasn't a great game for him on the whole. Some poor passing and hesitation. Brandon being back will see Godinho drop into third choice. Brandon is miles ahead too, and already shown he can cover at left back v Celtic and help us win 4-0!

Much better 2nd half. Booted up arse by craig at half time.

i think fact he was on the Wheatfield side and away from 45 minutes of constant ear bashing from Levein meant he relaxed more and played better 2nd half

A bit like Clare until recently............first though is immediately to get rid of the ball. Played well within himself and that is extremely disappointing considering he's being given a chance

agreed but people coming on here ripping the Tom Kite out of a young lad just back from a long term injury really grips my shite. support the team.

He was poor but as with others due to our horrible injury situation nobody is getting time to ease back into or into the team for the first time.

He dug in, covered well and made some good contributions late on.

Our injuries have led to players like Godinho being thrown in.

He showed last year he is a good player. Just needs more games.
