On to Saturday...

Don't think tonight's result was bad considering. Penalty aside!

Time to kick on though, we are not a million miles behind in points, just need a good performance to upease the fans and to start another unbeaten run.

Any chance we will see Naismith?

Good post.

It wasnt a bad result but it was a disappointing result. We've been robbed of a win by the ref. But their was positives imo especially in the first half. Hopefully Naismith is still targeting this Saturday because a win would put us right back on track!

Tough but good game in prospect. Looking forward to it. Forgetting all the officialdom incompedence for a minite, it's shaping up to be a decent league.

Father Collum is the ref for this one. Can't wait to see how he deals with it.

Disallowed goal for us, dubious penalty to Motherwell and one of our players sent off, then he'll head off home feeling he's done well.

We just need the feel good factor back.

Although we have expected the recent run of results, maybe not to be as bad as they were, we are still in the mix.

A win on Saturday, Naismith back, Berra getting fitter, new striker arriving and hopefully Soapy and Uche are recovering quicker than expected. A buzz about the place again and we will forget all about the last 2 months.

I will get the excuses in now for another winless game.

Injuries

Ref

Excuses or reasons whatever we would be top of the league but for run of dreadful decisions against us.

What will Saturday bring ?

Dodgy penalty against Hearts ?

Offside goal for Motherwell ?

Incorrect offside against Hearts goal  ?

Controversial red card against Hearts player ?

We could open a book about it.☺

Motherwell will be a tough game having just beaten Aberdeen & drawing with Celtic.

You never know what Motherwell team will turn up.

So, against St Mirren we had a St Mirren fan, Rangers we had a Rangers fan, St Johnstone we had an arsehole and Motherwell we've got a Well fan as 4th official. Joy.

Wouldn’t consider a 2-2 draw against St Johnstone away as a poor result considering we hadn’t scored (own goal aside) for a few matches and they hadn’t conceded in 6.

We really need Naismith back and Bozanic & Djoum need to start again for me.

Curtis Main to emulate Morelos by kicking lumps out of Berra without any punishment.

I think Collum will be good to us.

It seems that every time a manager criticises the standard of refereeing, or one referee has a howler, other referees come along to even things up by giving that team the benefit of the doubt and/or soft penalties.

Well it does if your club name starts with C and ends with C, or starts with R and ends with S anyway

It's feckin tiresome, he needs to go over to hibs.net and decide if he wants to be a Jambo or support perennial underachievers.

I fancy us for this one. At home. We're not playing much better but have still found some goals. And the players will be raging at the recent injustices. Get into them.

We are at home, we generally do alright at home, this should be a comfortable 3 points.

I don’t know if it will be “comfortable” probably a hard fought three points by the odd goal ?

A decent win by one or two goals at a 16,000 plus Tynecastle game would get Hearts back in the Euro places on the Christmas leadup.

Craig levein has come over as a decent, genuine guy over the ref debacles...

If Naismith has involvement even 20 mins it will feel like we have turned a corner.

We won’t risk Naismith until Aberdeen.  Even if he’s ready, a booking against Motherwell or Livvy and he could miss the Hamilton or Hibs game.  **** losing him for another derby.

I thought the same about Berra.

Bottom line is we need points pronto. Rather pick up as many as possible before the derby and risk Naismith getting a booking,  assuming he is fit mind.
