DIANE Abbott has been accused of supporting criminals amid the lawless London crime spree by condemning strong Met Police tactics.

Diane Abbott argued that it should “not be legal for anyone” to force moped riders off their bikes.

If they don't want knocked off then they shouldn't be dirty thieving *****. Why should they get to go about terrorising people and escape unpunished. They should reverse over them.

Just think, Diane Abbott could be home secretary one day, maybe even quite soon at that, now that prospect should fill everybody with alarm & dread.

For the record, if the dirty thieving little scrotes weren't dirty thieving little scrotes then they wouldn't be getting knocked off their mopeds, simples.

It’s about time the gloves came off. These moped gangsters are the hardest to catch. You don’t want to get knocked off your bike whilst robbing and assaulting people then the answer is very simple.

What if by knocking a suspect thief off of their moped, this then in turn causes a serious accident harming, potentially killing, an innocent bystander?

I don't think anyone is trying to condone or stick up for these suspected criminals, but Police tactics need to overseen and need some sort of check and balance.

Is summary justice acceptable? Not defending the suspected criminals but it hardly seems right to knock them off their mopeds with the potential for injury to  the police involved, innocent bystanders and the thieves.

Vehicle crashes are almost impossible to control once they are instigated.

The Police need to be very, very careful.

All it takes is a fatality either of a bike thief or, worse, an innocent bystander and all hell would break loose.

There is a very fine line between apprehending a suspect using appropriate force and plain old police brutality.

Countless money and research has been invested in making cars pedestrian safe.

They should crash into them harder so they land safely and comfortably on the bonnet.

Instead they could kill other people by driving recklessly and also cause violence and fear to the general public.

This isnt Mad Max ffs they are skilled to take them off their bikes while mitigating the risk to others and themselves.

The thieves know the consequences and as a result it appears to be a good deterrent.

People question the softly softly approach but dont want the alternative.

What happens if the Police target a non-thieving moped rider?

Diane will be ok with that as long as they're white and or Jewish.

The law abiding rider would most likely pull over when asked to do so and a police chase wouldn't happen.

just think of the extra police officers we would have with her in government. remember it only costs £30 per year to train a police officer

If its OK to knock a suspect of his/her moped then the next logical step is for officers to be allowed to immediately truncheon a pedestrian suspect!  Great stuff!

You are aware why they have adopted this tactic?

In saying that, Diane Abbot is a vile, racist bigot. She should be shunned from politics as every other bigot tends to be.

What an utter pile of dog shite.

Behind the scenes this is under review. Police could be charged with assault or similar.

But you have to go in hard and determined to sort out these sort of things.

Tricky one for the politicians.

It’s cool. When Dianne’s Home Secretary, we’ll get 10,000 more officers for £300k so there’ll be no need for any of this.

It that price the country could afford 1m more police officers.

If they ever take out any of the moped thieves, they should show the videos live at around 5ish, that way I could really enjoy my dinner and toast the demise of another scummy fekr with a nice glass of red.

I wonder if it’s too late for a change of career ?

One of their latest little games is to steal mopeds, then head in to the town centre and fire about spraying paint on innocent motorists cars as they go by, wouldn’t miss a single one of the wasters.

edit: just remembered...it’s not their fault, they were just bored

Is that video the source of the discussion. I am possibly not seeing the whole thing but I didn't see the police knock anyone off a motor sc ooter. As it may not be the primary video but I saw what I took to be a police vehicle with a dash cam in pursuit of a suspect.  The suspect chose to drive at a speed faster than he could control causing him to  fall from his scooter. On at least one occasion the scooter rider took off on foot obviously feeling he was guilty of some thing and was avoiding arrest.

There used to be an old adage if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

look, you will struggle to find many, if any, people who will feel sorry for the ***** who commit these crimes getting attacked by the police.

But that's a very narrow outlook on it. The potential to abuse these powers is the concern here.

The downside is one of these scumbags will end up suing the police for assault.

Well, the police aren't above the law.

That's not the downside, the downside is when the police do this to the wrong person accidentally or deliberately.

A simple case of mistaken identity has can be a death sentence for an innocent person.
