That song now reminds me of 4-0 v Celtic.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

I'll be watching nativity 2 tomorrow after the deccies go up. Would prefer die hard though.

Deccies in November??

All kicks off this Sunday in the D4 household. Deccies up, Christmas tunes on,  dugs first Christmas too so hoping she doesn’t leave a Christmas log under the tree....

Into Xmas movie overdrive aswell. ???

We always put the deccies up at the long weekend at the start of December. However, occasionally the long weekend falls in November, like this year.

Love Actually (I know that film line for line pretty much)

Has to be the Pogues for music, definitive Christmas

Is exactly my answer.

We went out and cut our tree on Saturday and now the house is all decorated.  Feels a tiny bit early but our tradition is to do it the weekend after Thanksgiving and that fell earlier this year.

Has nobody realised any new Christmas songs this year. You used to get them every year.

I thought the bold Cliff would have made a come back.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just watched The Christmas Chronicles with the family on Netflix, made specifically for it.

Very enjoyable.  Recommend it.

I like Kurt Russell and he doesn't disappoint.

The days of the cheesy Christmas song are sadly gone :(

Christmas number one is usually whatever shite cover song that the most recent X Factor winner has released.

Last decent attempt was The Darkness but even that's going back a while.

At some point as Christmas draws near, I will watch the Christmas episode from the first series of the West Wing (1999), as I have done for many years.  I'll probably watch it by myself.

Here's the last few minutes:

I cant remember if the Pouges done F.o N Y when I  saw them but I saw The Damned do this a couple of weeks ago

And if you don't say Die Hard, then you know nothing about Christmas.
