Pretty sure too that the players that day were promised a crate of whisky (Whyte & Mackay?) by the sponsors, for scoring a hat-trick? Rings in my mind that Busby (our usual penalty taker) already had his 3 goals so, when we were awarded a penalty he passed the honour to Gibson? That might of course, be a lot of shite!
