Didn't realise it was King Ramos these days. Real Madrid really is a privileged position

Don't forget about Makovora.

He's got his song sorted if he ever makes the first team.

GOAL HEARTS! It's Cammy Logan who edges Hearts in front five minutes into extra-time! He collected a good pass from Strang before driving a low shot in from the edge of the box. 3-2!

Ryan Schiavone is a beast of a lad. Seen him in action a few times for his school team. Plays variety of positions.

This weekend is shaping up very nicely indeed.  On Sunday we'll need binoculars to find our great friends in the league.

It was a strange game the way it unfolded.  The game was pretty uneventful for the first 25 minutes, then Hearts gradually took control, scoring just before half time with a howler from Saints keeper.

I thought Hearts eased off at the start of the second half, allowing St Mirren back into the game. However, when the second goal went in it looked like it might be a case of how many.  St Mirren kept going , but were helped by the Hearts defence who didn't close down  a player 25 yards out and he fired the ball into the top corner. Then poor defending at a corner allowed Saints to equalise.

Thankfully Logan got a third early in extra time which avoided the lottery of a penalty shoot out.

The weather was horrible throughout so credit to all the youngsters involved.

It was a very young Hearts side who could have fielded Cochrane, McDonald, Hamilton, Hickey and Stone had they been available and fit.

The Hearts match report is very complimentary to Sean Ward. I watched him play for Tynecastle before joining Hearts and thought that he was a cracking player.

Tough draw for us that, especially whilst noticing that the Old Firm were both drawn against non league sides, some things never change I guess.
