We now know for sure that a Scotland win tomorrow means we are the top ranked Nations League C team ensuring Hampden advantage in the one of semi final play off. This would definitely be against Finland assuming none of us, Norway, Serbia or Finland qualify automatically. Should we draw tomorrow we would be the next best finisher in Nations League Group C, behind the 4 group winners which would in all likelihood mean we end up playing a play off away from home against a League B side. Not advisable! Of course all this is moot if we finish in the top 2 of our Euro qualifying group. Isn't the ranking based on rank in March 2020? Serbia for example could be ranked higher than us at the time?

The draw for the play offs and deciding where each of the 4 finals are played is 3 days after the actual Euro 2020 qualifying finishes, on 22nd November 2019. If we win tomorrow we could only play Serbia away in the final (assuming neither of us qualify automatically) and that would be because their and Norway’s semi-final was drawn as the home game for the final. The players who started last night should be given the chance to finish the job on Tuesday. I'm not keen on McLeish either but at least we now have some decent players who are playing at a good level every week. If we feck this campaign up McLeish will have no excuses. I still think Steve Clarke should have got the job. Sometimes managers are a good fit for a particular club or in this case country. He did well with Scotland first time round. Let's give him a chance. We have well and truly pumped the might of Albania so bring on the zippy Zionists tonight... can we give them a Cannaan? Well it is going to be one holy stramash that is for sure. Probably not a game for the Philistine's amongst us... who knows by the end of the game Ecky may be calling the Samaritan's ! Mikey1874
John McGinn still injured. Not playing for Aston Villa today. Wonder what the final count is on all those who pulled out.
jack D and coke
Alan Hutton scored a cracker and played very well today in the Brum derby. Certainly be better than Paterson at at RB.

Dagger Is Back
To be fair all he had to do was run and keep the ball. It was like the parting of the Red Sea. Not one tackle or even attempt at a tackle

It was like the parting of the Red Sea. Not one tackle or even attempt at a tackle It’s a wee bit more than that. He changed direction slightly a couple of times and that’s all it takes to throw you’re tackle off when running at pace, you have to adjust again and get back into your stride. If it was that easy to run half the length of the park and get shots off you’d see it every week. Someone could’ve lunged in and took a yellow I suppose but glad they didn’t. An excellent goal for me.
