That's ok then if it only hit his jacket.

Luscious Laryea

The guy really is a lowlife. Inexcusable throwing a coin at a football game but he really does bring it upon himself.

No other manager in Scotland acts like that.

No excuse for coin throwing but Lennons behaviour in taunting the fans when the goal for disallowed was stupid.  He knew exactly what he's was doing

Hit him in the face, no excuses.

Neil Lennon should also be reprimanded for inciting violence in a different incident - 15 seconds prior to that.

TBF should you not include the idiot who threw the coin in the low life pond dweller accusation?

Nah the embarrassment is the coin thrower.

Absolutely shocking behaviour throwing a coin but the point I make is Lennon pretending

Classless prick was goading the fans, knew exactly what he was doing. Inciting us in a powder-keg atmosphere and then rolling about like he was hit by a bowling ball.

Got the reaction, over-reacted in an oscar-worthy display but sadly the fact one of our fans reacted to him,  will now take the heat off his own scummy fans behaviour (assaulting Bobby, firing off smoke) and see us hit with a fine.

Shit evening.

Idiots throwing shit at him

That said, Lennon doesn't exactly do himself any favours in goading the hearts fans the way he did.

Absolutely not condoning what happened though.

Club will be fined and the fan will get banned

I thought it hit him on the cheek and then down onto the jacket.

Wherever it hit him really isn't the point though, the person that threw the coin and the idiot Hibs fan punching Bobby are the embarrassments, why can't folk just go and watch a game of football without behaving like scumbags?

We could also add in the Flares from both sides, several set off thru-out the game.

He brought it on himself.  Not excusing the coin throwing which is idiotic but I'm never surprised when someone tries to hurt him.

Pish manager as well by the way, absolute dumpling

100%. If the Hearts fans want to celebrate because they think a legitimate goal has been scored, that’s their business. He shouldnae even be facing them ffs, never mind taunting them and telling them to sit down. What the **** has it got to do with him? Why get involved?

Canni condone the actions of the coin thrower but **** me, the victim mentality seeps out of every pore of Neil Lennon.

Yep. Lennon is a calculating, devious *******. He needs done hard for inciting the crowd - that's a police offence is it not.

Indeed, they're going with "trying to calm the crowd down", eh no, he was goading and inciting the fans. No excuse for throwing a coin at him though.

Lennon is a plumb. But throwing a coin at him is not what our club is about.

Smashing bottles in grannies faces and skelping opposition managers with coins

The Derby and Celtic games really bring out the worst in our supporters.Wtf is the point in throwing anything at somebody all that is gained is a bad name for the club.

Why should the club be fined? Seriously, last time I checked the OF made sure the clubs didn't have strict liability. The club can no more prevent a lone idiot in the crowd launching a coin than Celtic can their fans glorifying terrorism or Rangers revelling in the deaths of Catholics.

TOTALLY unacceptable throwing anything at anybody.  He did seem to go down a bit easily. I think his behaviour was ill-judged at the disallowed goal, just sad that a Hearts fan stooped even lower.

I’m glad he was not badly hurt but,  he could have been by the TOTALLY unacceptable  behaviour.

Either biased or just really really really thick. Or maybe both.

The coin hit Lennon on the face, clear as day on the TV.

The dick who flung it has disgraced Heart of Midlothian Football Club and hopefully he/she will never darked any entrance of any football stadium ever again.

No matter what Lennon did the person who flung it has shamed the name of Heart of Midlothian.

It really doesn't matter where it hit him . We're going to get heavily sanctioned for this.

**** idiots.

Dragging the name of our club through the mud.

What other away manager goads the home stand like that repeatedly?

He did it at Ibrox and for all i know he does it elsewhere too.

Not for one moment condoning what happened but the guy has as much class as the coin thrower.

No amount of "goading" from Lennon justifies that in any way. Not a bit. Ban for life.

Of course it doesn't but its called incitement for a reason. In the charged atmosphere of a derby match that had already got quite tasty, that had already seen one of our players assaulted?

We will get all the bad press now and he ****ing well knew that. We better hammer the "fan" but the spotlight has to be shone on his behaviour too.

By your reckoning the name of Heart of Midlothian must already have been shamed thanks to John Wilson, so dinnae worry about it, nowts changed. Or does the shame wear away after a while? ?
