Rangers fan ‘grabbed EasyJet steward’s breast’ on Edinburgh-Berlin flight

A Rangers supporter sexually assaulted an air steward while flying out to watch his team play a friendly in Germany. Souness Clark grabbed the woman’s breast as he travelled on an easyJet flight from Edinburgh to Berlin in January last year.

Clark, from Clydebank, was among 200 supporters on the plane travelling to Germany to watch the Ibrox club play a challenge match against RB Leipzig. Flight attendants struggled to keep order during the flight as the rowdy footie fans began shouting and singing club songs. And as one female air steward, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, attempted to serve beer to a passenger Clark reached out and grabbed and squeezed her breast. The easyJet employee was said to have been left “physically shaken” by the sexual attack.

Lets be honest here. After his idiotic parents called him that he had no chance of being anything other than a lowlife piece of scum.

Doesn't say his age, but probably around 30.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, perhaps late 20s.

28 year old according to the report meaning Souness was at Ibrox when he was born, criminal his parents called him that - great start in life and you can imagine his home-life

Lowlife neanderthal scum grows up thinking singing the type of songs on Newco is acceptable as is sexually harassing female members of the public

Throw the book away

Souness Clark?

Never mind, with the right judge, he’ll get off with a yellow.

On a related topic, a few weeks ago a Hibs fan phoned or Tweeted Off the Ball and said his kid’s first name was Riordan. Might as well just phone Saighton and ask them if they take pre-bookings.

Oh, and did he go "honk honk".

I was in benidorm last weekend for a  .. Ehhh cultural trip.

Rangers fans were horrible.

Constant football songs and anti Catholic songs, singing shite like rule brittania. Even all the English were like "what the ****?"

Stood out as scumbags, even in benidorm.

Even got on a chat with a few brexit, bnp supporting geordies (who were quite amicable) and wanted to talk about Independence and stuff. Even they said the rangers fans were complete welts.

Only thing we agreed on!

Obviously brought up to be that way tho, many were just teenagers.

I would age him at some time after Souness won his first title, and before he signed Mo Johnston.

I followed the link since my first comment and I have to say - if the guy's sole defence is that he was too drunk to remember committing a sexual assault, then why did the sheriff agree to adjourn sentencing until he prepares his mitigation plea? Other than "Honest gov, I wouldn't normally grope a woman but I was smashed" what can he possibly say?

I cannot imagine anything worse than being stuck in a tin can at 30,000ft with a bunch of drunk Rangers fans...what a job these Easyjet people have...

They should get hazard pay when there are Huns on the flight.

Normally I would say that we shouldn't tar all fans with the same brush just because of the actions of one supporter. But, as we all know, fans of The Rangers are generally complete arseholes.

All roads lead to Gorgie

Scumbag fans but Easyjet could do something to discourage the Sevco fans using them by painting their planes some colour other than orange.

If the fans were that rowdy. What we're Easyjet doing selling them beer?

Exactly rather than change their company colours, as some helpful soul suggested (although I think it was more tongue in cheek than serious), an alcohol ban on the flight would have been more sensible.

Alcohol or no alcohol, isn't really the point. The guy sexually assaulted someone doing their job. Not sure about you but most folk manage to drink, even to excess and not sexually assault anyone.

EasyJet allow clearly drunk stags etc on planes and then sell them copious amounts of overpriced alcohol. I think it's called a business model? Looks like another example of it here but as usual the front line staff get the repercussions. Jet2 on the other hand are a bit more expensive but far stricter with drunks
