Watched Forfar getting turned over by Arbroath today. Lewis Moore playing for Forfar and hooked half way through the second half. Most damning indictment is that he didn't look at all out of place at that level.

Bobby Burns came on in the 88th minute as Livingston beat Hamilton 1-0.

Connor Sammon was ineligible to play against us this weekend.

Malaury Martin was an unused sub as Dunfermline drew 0-0 at home to Alloa. Aiden Keena remains out injured so didn’t feature for Dunfermline.

Andy Irving played 64 minutes as Falkirk squandered a 2 goal lead to lose 3-2 to Ayr. It was 2-2 when Andy was subbed off.

Lewis Moore was subbed in 71st minute as Forfar lost 3-1 away to Arbroath.

I think he is underrated on here. Looked a prospect when he first broke through but has been hampered by a poor team around him under Cathro then bad injuries last season. Looked like he had his confidence knocked but thats now 3 goals in 3 games. Also think people forget he is only 20. If he can continue scoring and come back with confidence he will do well for us.

Anyone know how Martin played today? Keena tagged him on Instagram saying “what a player!” So must have done something today.

Edit:

Raving about him on their forum. If he wasn’t as slow as a week in polmont he’d be a different player.

He's mentioned in another thread on here.

Played well, pinging the ball about and looking good by all accounts.

Chris Hamilton loaned to Berwick Rangers. They seemed to help Godinho last year so hopefully this helps Hamilton's development

He seems to be a real prospect, is he only 17?  Seems to have a lot of confidence for a young lad, hopefully he can kick on at Berwick.

just 17 and extremely highly rated, not only by Hearts but know a few in the youth set up through here in Glasgow that agree. Mate of mine whose boy played Scotland 16’s with him describes him as the best he’s seen. Still slight and lacking height but all the ability to go far, very far.

Saw him play the last 20 minutes or so at the Borehamwood v Dunfermline Challenge Cup game and although not the quickest came across as very committed and with a good range of passing. Game itself was dire but I'd say his 20 minutes cameo was the stand-out. That said can't imagine he'll be back at Hearts dictating in the engine room. Nonetheless certainly has something and I wish him the best in the future.

Strange thing is that he has come off the bench in each match, first couple of times for last 1/2 hour & last couple last 1/4 hour.

Possibly still being eased back after last season's injury.

Good luck to the lad & hope he continues his present run.

It is also pleasing that the various young lads are getting a chance of more playing time with their "loan" spells with the added benefit of still being eligible to play in reserve fixtures. It certainly has not affected Callumn Morrison's progress.

Challenge Cup action today.

Dario Zanatta played 90 minutes for Alloa as  they beat Dunfermiline at East End Park on penalties after 2-2 draw. Zanatta scored their 3rd penalty. Keena was cup tied but Martin played first 66 minutes for Dunfermiline. Missed at penalty shoot out.

Rory Currie played 75 minutes in 2-0 win for East Fife over Queen of the South. Hopefully East Fife have got rules right with Currie being unused sub when Hearts played their game v Ross County who also won to get to Quarter finals.

Rory Currie helped East Fife to their 8th win in a row. No goal today.

Andrew Irving was subbed off on 50 minutes in Falkirk's 1-0 defeat at Morton. This was because new goalkeeper subbed on after sending off.

Euan Henderson was 66 minute sub for Montrose in 3-0 defeat at home to Airdrie.

Chris Hamilton made first start for Berwick Rangers as they beat Gretna 3-1 in the Scottish Cup.

Wonder if Bobby Burns is closer to starting for Livingston. He has made a few sub appearances usually the last 20 minutes or so. After a couple of poor results they might look to change things. Celtic on Sunday.

Have a few friends who are Falkirk fans and they've all said that Andy Irving has been a stand out for them, and they rate him higher than the young lad they've got on loan from Chelsea.

One didn't believe me when I mentioned how young he was as they said he has coped well with the physicality.

Aidan Keena went off injured after 33 minutes for Dunfermiline.  Malaury Martin and Andy Irving both played 90 minutes as Falkirk won 1-0.

Rory Currie wasn't in the East Fife squad as they beat Raith Rovers 2-1.

Chris Hamilton played 90 minutes for Berwick in rare 4-2 win at Elgin.

Dario Zanatta played 90 minutes for Alloa in 2-0 win at Morton.

Ryan Edwards played 90 minutes for St Mirren in 1-1 draw at Dundee.

Euan Henderson played 90 minutes for Montrose in 2-0 defeat at Arbroath.

No Daniel Baur for Albion Rovers today.

Don’t think Danny is on loan at Albion. That was last season.

Playing 90 minutes in 0-0 draw with Celtic is decent.

Hopefully can continue in team.
