Homme
Seen it live once, in Dinan in Brittany. As stated above the action is over pretty quickly but it's the whole occasion that gets you. For example Dinan had open BBQ's, a beer festival, live music and plenty of stuff to keep kids entertained etc if you had them. A real community effort which resulted in a great day. Cade
Pinot's fecked! In tears on the climb.

All roads lead to Gorgie
Crazy. Just put the telly on to see the last bit of today's stage and something like freak weather stops it. Alaphillipe was clawing back some time too although he would probably lost yellow anyway with another climb to go.
Boof
Gutted for Pinot. Shame for Alaphillipe. Jaysus - landslides ahoy!
Notts1874
Good job it happened when it did so they were able to stop the race in time.
Cade
Reports of a landslide partially blocking the road further along from the mental hailstorm spot. Correct call to halt it when they did. We'll have to wait for the official timings to be released. Tomorrow is going to be crazy.

Mikey1874
Ineos were struggling right enough then. But I think everyone has to thank Julian Alaphillipe whose lead forced the issue today. Bernal now has Thomas riding for him in support and with no Pinot is in a very strong position. However...

Adam Murray
Going to be difficult for any of the GC contenders to gain time over each other on such a short stage.

Cade
Alaphilippe cracks on the mountain. Off the podium. So much for French hopes this year. Chapeau Bernal. 22 years old. Ineos win their first GT.

Mikey1874
I know it's not popular with everyone. British team wins 7 out of 8 Tours with 4 different winners. Unique in Tour de France. Homme
The cycle through Paris is just amazing. A cracking stage even if it's widely regarded as a parade. Some of the shots on itv were stunning.
Jamhammer
One of the best TDF’s for years. Bravo to Alaphillippe, Pinot, G, Bernal, Nibali, The Yateses and, of course Sagan et al. Proper race.
Cade
22 year old rising star of the Lotto-Soudal team Bjorg Lambrecht has died following a crash on the tour of Poland. He came off the road and fell down into a concrete culvert, sustaining multiple injuries. Bjorg was airlifted to hospital but later died in surgery. He was named best young rider in this year's Criterium du Dauphine. He also performed well in several one-day classics this year, finishing 6th in the Amstel Gold, 5th in Brabanste Pijl and 4th in Flech Wallone. 22 is a ridiculous age to die.
