It was John Lewis then, but not like it is now, there's a John Lewis sign above an entrance or exit.

So did we. It got really busy after work, it was a great bar in its day.

 

I'm sure it was owned by the two brothers, Roy and Alan West, who were both huge Hearts fans.

 

I'm also sure that they were both a bit dodgy!  :lol:

Thanks for that, a good read.

I remember the latter days of the pink.

Use to go to the Royal Ettrick Hotel after the match and a young lad would come round selling the Pink.

I only really got it after away games. I used to get off the supporters bus at Haymarket and go into the shop next to Brattisani's, check the results and tables and read it on the bus home.
