Looks like it. I mind all the wee kiosks.

I thought it was the station at the west end - next to the Rutland Hotel

More likely Princes St Station going by the cars parked and the curved platform.

Lauriston Street?

Looks more like Newington Road/Minto St or Dalkeith Road to me, with Salisbury Crags in the background.

The opening on the right is Semple Street.

Talk about changes in an area.

It is Morgan and one of the coldest places this side of The Rockies in winter.

It's the Princes Street Station, more commonly referred to as the Caley Station.

You can see the entrance to the old Meat Market just left of centre.

Asa Wass had his place on the left as well. Duncans Chocolate had a factory on the right.

Some of our Porty school class went on a few expeditions up to Woolies sample the radical new idea "Pick'n'Mix"  back in the day.

Free if you could run fast enough, I understand

Just having a look on Google Earth and didn’t realise they removed the entrance to the Meat Market whilst building works were being done and then rebuilt it. (Changing the date to 2008 and it’s not there)

Junction of Glasgow Road and Meadowplace Road where McDonald's now sits. I remember the Securex building which was just out of the picture to the right and the market garden, which took up much of what is now the retail park, but not the white building.

I can't think what that building was.

The roundabout used to be a lot smaller than that as well. Caused mayhem at times as cars used to drive over it without looking right 😂

My great grandfather died in Semple Street in 1919 of the flu. Strangely, he was born in Laurieston Street in 1865.

Did we ever find out when the building on the corner across from the Tynie Arms came down?

Look at the state of this area now compared to then
