Rough guess. Lauriston Place looking east . Just before Heriot's and the Infirmary

The flat roofed front extensions have gone, and there's a wee newsagents in the bottom corner ( Keir Street).

Bloke with the stick, is that one of them mad big boots he has on his left foot? Plenty older guys wore them when I was young, one leg shorter than the other due to some medical condition (can't remember what)

You're right - have to zoom in to see it. Wasn't expecting to see a basket being carried like that. Must have been the way then

It isd, was a nice wee pub right next to the entrance to Ushers Brewery. Telling tales but when I first started at Braid Place the night shift driver used to pick up a watering can of beer for the station people. Of course rookies like me weren't supposed to know about the big secret.

Could that be photoshopped?  If you zoom in it looks like there's a tsunami coming down the road.

Edinburgh Odeon.

I remember going to see Jaws with my mother and shitting my self when the head appeared through the hole in the boat.

Couple of years later i was pogoing like a loony to The Clash down the front.

Seen many a good band there it was just such a sad loss to Edinburgh's gig scene.

Im only looking at it on my phone but isnt it taken from the roof of a vehicle and thats what the 'puddle' is?

The 'tsunami' being other car, van roofs etc?
