It was the number 1 bus I was waiting for at the Tron when I saw the headline 'Hearts to Buy Hibs!'. Thanks! I think 1 was anti clockwise? I would get that from Gorgie to the Royal Mile and the 6 back home.
Riddley Walker
My proudest bus moment was last year getting a single fare from Princes Street to Musselburgh for 26p, containing one 5p and the rest in coppers. A full £1.34 short. Roond ye LRT, roond ye.

Went bell happy on George Street. I take it you want to get off aye ?! Edited August 16, 2018 by Maroon Sailor

kila
£2.50 for a single? **** that They'd need to introduce fare stages again which would just be a headache. However a quick 5-10 min hop down the road costing the same to get to the end of Leith from Baberton during major price hikes is ridiculous (if true). Given that ***** who drive electric cars can park at my work for free and charge for free as part of an incentive, I might just say to my bosses I'll work from home unless you subsidise the bus (a chunk of my job requires onsite work). Can't see them getting more than £2 over the next few years. Reckon we'll see a £5 daysaver first.
kila
I do think we are spoilt with our buses in Edinburgh and the modern additions lately have been superb. All the more season that ripping up the roads for ****ing trams is pointless, especially if it means having tram lines blocking the view from Princes St (again)
