Punks No Deid

Can only speak as a (carer) member in Hearts Disabled Supporters Club but can’t fault Hearts on this point. Me n my disabled pal were renewing our season ticket last season when Keith Ferguson (dunno what Keith’s official title is - think it’s something like HMFC disability liaison officer) asked us if my pal qualified for ESA. He did so he qualified for a further reduction in cost. This was Keith on behalf of Hearts through the HDSC who contacted us so it’s a big thumbs up in my view to the club being proactive in looking after its fans.

I thought it might be with the jiggling about with the age groups.

I'll wait a while and see what happens. We've plenty time after all.

Wish somebody knew how many we've sold.  Expect we'll be told when we reach the 12,000 mark.

I wish you had said you were doing one.  I've just done one of my own that only differs from yours by 2, which is pretty good in a count of over 4000.

My estimated sales count stands at 11,861.

Apologies FF. I will post in future when I am about to start a count. Pretty good going that we were within 2 of each other. Hopefully a few more will be sold on Saturday.

I also only received new cards for the kids through post today. Think I will keep hold of them all just in case of a muck up!!!

That will upset some of the most prolific posters on here. We will break 13k no doubt and the additional capacity will mean more walk ups will be available and sold when results upturn

Thought we’d have hit 12k by today, I won’t lie.

I’m sure the 139 dithering souls will sober up and renew by Monday.

And what’s that? We’ve sold more than Hibs?

Well there’s yet another claim debunked. :greggy:

Yes, but it's not like they've had their best league season in decades compared to us to help boost their sales....  Oops ...  Pishy wee team

Bull's-eye

So, we have a good hard core support in the region of 12k. That's a very decent number.

That gives the club massive security and something to work with going forward, a decent season will boost numbers and if we can somehow become consistent on the pitch then there's no reason why half the Roseburn can't be populated by Hearts supporters for every game.

That must be the aim where numbers are concerned.

@VladMagic

Are they (Hibs) still open to abuse of the "concession" ST? If they have started clamping down on that then they will get nowhere near last years sales.

Don't agree on the core support number Oliver although I understand your take on it.  My view after a largely disappointing season is that the core support will be the ST tally and I think it will be around 14,000 again.

I reckon getting ourselves into Aberdeen's position - regularly challenging for/getting second - will be achievable once the new stand & pitch stop costing and start earning. If/when that happens, we will definitely be filling half the Roseburn. Maybe next season, but more likely 2019/20.

Well played by the club on concessions. Always niggled me a bit even although it doesn't affect me personally.

Nice to see they are listening to feedback.

Agreed - fair play to the club with that.

We may differ on what consistency on the park actually is but I agree with above.

I think we will be near the 14k mark when season starts.

There's a bit of an embarrassing thread on .net where they want to boast about selling 10,500 but can't.

Nah, this continualling referring to hibs is doing my nut in.

Some call them vermin, shit on shoe, an irrelevance, well quite clearly not true we talk about and compare ourselves to that mob far too much for my liking.

If I wanted to know how much they've sold I'd have a look on party planners.
