Be at Hibs in 6 months

Sad that you don't even need to joke about this.

Hibs signing policy is ex-Celtic or whoever we want

His grandad drinks in my local and says he (the  grandad) is looking forward to spending an extended holiday with him in Bari.

The Internet

He's not good enough for that level. Has tricked loads of people into thinking he's good somehow. Good on him for trying it abroad but he won't last.

I didn't rate him then I saw him last year for Scotland Under 21's, we brought him on at half time and he was brilliant. Drove the whole team forward, surprised me as I didn't think he was that sort of player. Hes been unlucky at Celtic, Rodgers rates McGregor higher and he does probably just edge it. I like the way he plays (wonderful passer of the ball, excellent work-ethic and he seems to really enjoy playing football) and I hope he has a really good career

Been thinking the exact same thing for the last few weeks. No doubt after the first month he will be thought of as another world beater!

He will fail at bari then be released then sign for Hibs in the summer, if not sooner or before the window.the trial will fall flat on it's face.

Trust me

Most of his recent experience was in the Scottish Championship, so you probably shouldn’t be too surprised.

He hits a good dead ball but other than that vastly over rated. At his age he should have far more appearances as usual old firm youngsters get hyped up by the media.

Odd that the article doesn't mention any of his other "indiscretions"

Most clubs have a trophy room but the Hobos make do with a Rogues Gallery

hope he gets a contract out there. Always like seeing young Scottish players trying to make a name for themselves abroad. I think he certainly has potential.

Fair play to him, good to see a young Scottish lad be more ambitious and have a crack at it abroad than linger about the lower leagues in England bench warming.

And Darren McCormack on trial at Edinburgh Sheriff.

Some day for ex-Hobos.

Former Hibs player Darren McCormack charged with attempted murder http://bit.ly/2qDZVc2

McCormack was one that Stokes used to tap for a few quid when he was at the vermin the first time under Yogi.

Clearly a slightly excitable young man

Who was the last Scottish player to play in Italy?

Not a quiz question, I'm genuinely interested!

That's crazy if true.

Exactly.  I used to be of the opinion it was a good thing for young Scottish talent to go abroad but it rarely works out.

I actually tip my hat to the lad, what a great experience he could have, in what is probably still my favorite league.

Googled it but no sign. Would be a total radge thing to just make up. Either he was linked/had a trial when he was a youngster breaking through or I'm totally tripping and mixing it up with someone else
