Shame, attended many a party there, in their function hall ( now gone ) in the 70s and 80s.

It looked open when I passed it on Thursday.

Was speaking to a landlord a few weeks back and he expects that we will see a wave of closures across Edinburgh in the new year.

Sadly it’s not looking very good.

Lots of pubs and restaurants are struggling to get staff.

I was down in York recently and it’s the same scenario looking to hire staff.

I attended a vicars and tarts fancy dress party there when I was in my early 20s.

Common decency deters me from going into details, but suffice to say it was an eventful night.

Always had you down as a bit of a tart actually.

Four in Hand RIP

Now the Old Eastway Tap

Very nice and great choice of keg beers

Was that not the pub Deek Rio started selling his Irish tri colour venoms in ? He was taking over a Paul Kane pub before lock down ?

Maroon Sailor

Not a closure but a rebranding

A 17th century pub called 'The Black Bitch' is set to change its name after Greene King said the title had links to racism and it was not 'welcoming and inclusive'.

The 350-year-old boozer in Linlithgow, West Lothian in Scotland, operates under the popular British brewer but is set to be rebranded over fears the name could offend customers.

Going to name it The Black Hound

I'm surprised they're not going to bulldoze it.

Just been told that the bitch was a dog that saved its owner.
