Fromage and his gang of morons made utter twats of themselves this morning, turning their backs to the rest of the European Parliament during the playing of the EU anthem.

Childish in the extreme.

Complete embarrassment. Maybe have more respect for that mob if they turned their back on their wage or expenses ? Didn't think so .  We really are becoming an international embarrassment now with those nutters and Brexit. A nasty , Xenophobic insular nation.

And here's the Nazi Party turning their backs to a Jewish member of the Reichstag during his speech in 1930.

So what were the SNP MEPs when the did not stand for the EU anthem but sat with the Catalonians in "solidarity" comrade?

More alt-right bullshit from you Jake?

Alt right not me Boris.

The figures for southern Europe youth are appalling.

35% youth unemployment across the  countries I mentioned is as you posted the official figure.

And if that makes you feel better thats up to you.

Denmark election: Social Democrats win as PM admits defeat

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-48535939
"Support for the anti-immigration Danish People's Party (DPP) dived, four years after becoming second biggest party"

"Denmark becomes the third Nordic country in a year to elect a leftist government, following Sweden and Finland".

Yet you choose to ignore the laws passed in recent years .

From a previously liberal country?

Yes. To take back control of our borders.

Uncontrolled immigration helps no one.

Especially the poorest.

It benefits the wealthy that's for sure.

Weird how upset he gets when you say it's pretty obvious what he stands for by the company he keeps.

I keep good company who all have different backgrounds and views.

And different nationality.

You have me pigeonholed and imo are a nasty little snob.

Lost out on filming the new Lord of the Rings TV series (most expensive TV series ever).  Would have fair kicked off the new studios.

Good to see we’re falling out with China too.  Not like we’ll need to go looking for a  trade deal there any time soon, is it?

I've not posted on this thread for ages but since then, not one advocate of Brexit has given a credible economic thesis for Britain prospering by leaving the EU so it hardly seems worth engaging.

The latest EU critique posted by you Jake is from Spiked.

I'll just post this here and let others make up their mind on how trusted it should be.

I suppose it may have escaped your notice that the majority of the free press is owned by a handful people.

Think they are all billionaires too.

I will get back to you .

I welcome the debate.

An update on the Fishing bailout that you may or may not have seen.

It turns out Hunts proposed £6bn No Deal bailout would actually be against WTO rules as it would artificially boost our countres industry against the other WTO nations.

So they'll just have the be fecked along with the rest of us.

The fishing industry has to be looked at in a whole different way imo.

As does our whole economic take on things.

I dont hold out much hope though.

I mean in the sense of fishing stocks and the environment in general.

I will look back on your posts later on buddy after work.

Better stop skiving though.

Yes but I don't tend to quote from them, especially sites who spout propaganda.

It is of course a coincidence that being anti new EU Tax Directive laws and environmental policies to mitigate climate change, would impact the profits of the backers of these sites and instead they are really on the side of Joe Public.

As with most of the leading leave campaigners and groups, you need to follow the money to highlight the real agenda.

Wow! Quite bizarre. I was at the University of Kent during the time referenced. I didn't know the Frank Furedi character personally but the Revolutionary Communist Party/Tendency were a group of around half a dozen older students all assumed to be undercover police ?

Like I said, anything that isn't right wing fuddery funded by the Koch bros. If what you're suggesting is true, there should be a wide variety of sources available and they shouldn't be hard to find. I look forward to reading them...

Fair enough.

And you are spot on about following the money.

Hence my distrust of the EU and its direction.

So who voted for who to lead the EU?

A new president a new bank leader a new beginning for Europe?

All behind closed doors.

Did I miss something?

Did I ****.

Just the same relentless train to a Soviet republic of Europe.

Which nationalities occupy the top posts by the way?

????

Why would the EU elect UK MEPs etc... to any top post? The UK is leaving. Personally I think the SNP MPs should Not! take up their seats and salaries in WM. Do u think The BNP should do the same at Brussels?
