It was always going to be no deal with just a series of manoeuvres beforehand to try and paint it as the EU's fault all this is happening.

Westminster's a ****ing disgrace.

Indeed. Leaving the EU was always a philosophical move, never a practical one.

But Brexit was the ultimate two fingers up to "the establishment," don't you know?

How refreshing to get back to worrying about Brexit and associated scaremongering.

15 years of slightly slower GDP growth. Loss of "freedom of movement" and maybe having to pay a few quid for a visa.

Those were the days.

 Exactly. But most of the mugs who enabled the establishment, believing their lies and being taken for this ride, will never admit they got it horribly, horribly wrong.

Edit: See e.g. two posts up

Has Boris the bullshitter set another deadline? His attempts at macho, 'hardline' negotiating are laughable. I very much doubt he's got the EU quaking in their collective boots.

Boris getting EXACTLY what his evil paymasters wanted. No deal. Was always the plan anyway. Look at this shite they spouted:

Correct.

What I want to know is exactly who these paymasters are as we have increased deregulation and exploitation of the UK economy.

A few folk predicted this from the start. Maybe they got lucky...

Things are going to be so good that Nigel Farage is thought to be moving to Germany.

That would be a bonus though.

Time will tell which point of view about the benefits or damage was correct. But let’s not allow any shoving blame for the lack of a free trade agreement onto the EU. They were only ever going to play a hard game. The British position of them needing us more than them was just typical arrogance.

Any thought of the U.K. getting similar deals that Canada and Australia have are nonsense, given the difference in geographical location.

So because the UK was part of the EU for 45 years, the UK should be guaranteed everything it asks for.

Comparing the situation of the Scots to black freedom struggles is a new low even for you. There was even a referendum mate, and no doubt there will be another one. Get a grip.

Pretty much what the French are saying about fishing rights. "We've fished your waters for hundreds of years so we should be able to carry on doing so". The EU approach has changed since the penny dropped over the pandemic. The Euro Zone is ****ed and its everyone for themselves. The spectre of the collapse of European capitalism is on the horizon and nobody has a plan. Kicking the Brits might save them a few bob but the real hope is to get into bed with China. It might work and at least its a plan, which Boris seems to be sadly lacking.

Lets see what happens when bankruptcy looms next year.

You compared the Scottish struggle for freedom to apartheid 😉. On the slavering shite scale that is unbeatable. There is no way back and bringing up foxy won't change your arsehole status.

I pointed out that you were allegedly a 'veteran' of 'championing' the right of indigenous peoples to self determine unless they were 'prince Charlies' of course, who would have to pay for everything, whatever that actually means.

Yip that definitely confirms my arsehole status. 😂

Have you ever got anything right. I see you ****ed up about St Mirren as well.

Did you watch white riot by the way? Excellent example of how to organise an inclusive grass roots movement against racism and hate. Just if your interested, but probably not.

There's only one party on the negotiations trying to shite on the other in the negotiations and it's not the EU...

The GF agreement seems to be a BIG deal for the US regardless of whether a Democrat or Republican president is in the White House.

It's been the most obvious tactic for a long, long time - negotiate in poor faith while building the "it's all the EU's fault!" narrative.

It's so obvious it's hard to believe anyone buys it.

The people I've had dealings with who do "buy" it, also mostly have a rather unsavoury attitude to immigrants in general and non whites in particular, along with an ability to gaily salute any flag flown by the likes of Yaxley-Lennon, Trump and the expensively educated simpleton who is currently in No10.

Is the EU negotiating in good faith? When it claims the UK will have full sovereignty over its waters except for the fish in those waters is that good faith? All EU negotiations end up at the eleventh hour with the clock being stopped at midnight until a deal is done.

Whether the UK is involved or not. Suspect it will.be the same here.

The UK were always going to negotiate in poor faith and point the finger at the EU. If you can be arsed searching my posts you'll see I've said it for a long time now and it's true.

Perhaps you should spend less time with narrow minded, intolerant and not very bright people.

Who knows, it could be catching.
