indianajones
This might split opinions but i know there will be some others on here with similar great taste that might be able to help me... Anyone know where you can get Becks 5% in the UK? I miss this stuff a lot.

The time you take discount codes off etc, it probably works out about £1.90 for a pub standard pint 🙂🙂 Edited July 9, 2021 by Cairneyhill Jambo

I seriously miss the 5% original stuff.

Jambo-Jimbo
Enjoying this lovely weather with another nice beer from Northumbria. Oswald Whiteblade (3.9%) - Holy Island Brewery, Lindisfarne, Northumbria (Brewed by Alnwick Brewery, Alnwick) A very nice session ale, hoppy, zesty and very refreshing on a hot day such as this. Do you use the “untapped” app? It can be good fun recording your different beers, especially if you link up with a few mates.

Jambo-Jimbo
Seismic Shift (4.2%) - Cheddar Ales, Cheddar, Somerset New Zealand Pale Ale, brewed with 4 different New Zealand hops (Nelson, Sauvin, Waimea & Motueka) As can be seen a nice golden colour with a good head, nice citrus taste but not overpowering or bitter, just enough to be refreshing. Bought from Beers of Europe.

Jambo-Jimbo
Northumberland County IPA (4.5%) - Hexhamshire Brewery, Hexham, Northumbria Decent IPA, can't fault it. This is now the 3rd beer I bought from this brewery in this batch, having also had Devil's Water & Wall Walker, all very good priced at £2.50 per 500ml bottle and all 3 were ok. Bought from Northumbrian Gifts. (Not my photo) Beer I have is quite lively with a good head.

cheetah
Been drinking these small beers during the week to keep the units down, very nice, even the 1% dark lager is tasty. Ethical and sustainable brewer too. Tap room in the Bermondsey beer mile which I will be visiting next week.

There seems to be a growing market for these low alcohol beers, even I've had a few of them, two in particular spring to mind. Jacobs Ladder (2.7%) - Buxton Brewery, Buxton. (Light brown mild ale, stunning, really really good) Taproom Craft Light Lager (2.8%) - Donkeystone Brewery, Oldham (bought from Home Bargins, I think it was 99p or something like that, absolutely wonderful craft lager) Not tried any of the small beers yet. Doctor FinnBarr
A few good ones I've ahem tested recently have been Raspberry Sour from Vault City and the same from Windswept in Lossiemouth plus they do a good Weizen. A good pub I've found since we bought a van near Dunbar is the Station Yard, full of interesting beers and within a 30 second stagger to get a train home.
