Credit where it’s due, thought today was Jamie’s best performance in months.

Our best attacker by a mile. But yeah let’s give him to Rangers

for peanuts because he went off the boil for a few months.

Very good today. Also saw him giving Jame Brandon a gee up and encouragement a couple of times. Worked hard too.

Putting himself in the shop window one could argue?  Nice of him to make a bit of an effort after being invisible for months on end!

He was a lot better today. Well done Jamie. Hope he plays like that until he leaves.

I totally agree. He’s been a empty jersey most of 2017, just saying he was better today.

Division 1 in England is what I have been told.

Between 2 clubs just now.

Anyone else notice him skulking straight off the pitch and down the tunnel without shaking hands with anyone on Sunday?

Last man off the pitch on Saturday.

Well it won't be The Rangers as they don't even have a manager yet

Quality player as shown today.

Such a focal point for us going forward and making it happen in the last third.

But credit goes out to Djoum too. A lot of energy and purpose today from him and the way he combined with Walker in creating the space to get forward shows how wasted he is when sitting in a more defensive role.

These two can be too hot to handle on this sort of form but if only it could happen far more often.

Makes  you wonder and me very angry that Djoum is played in a defensive role.

He is at his best when played as and attacking force .

CL and Nanny McPhee really need to wake the feck up here.

That was Djoum’s African Nations role, so you (and me as I think he has goals in him) might be wrong

Djoum is so much more effective in an attacking role.

If he passes up Rangers to go to England, an awful lot of this thread will look very bad in hindsight.

Hope he does.

In January or the summer?

As an aside there were 2 guys with English accents in the back row of the director's box on Sat. Probably me adding 2 & 2 and getting 5 but could have been watching Jamie Walker

They will simply claim Rangers lost interest.

I hope he stays but, if he does leave, I also hope he goes to England  (or the continent).

I dont disagree, just saying international manager doesn’t think so and it looks like neither does Levein. Looking at our squad we don’t have any really good defensive mids either in the current ragbag of Mercenaries or in the kids coming through so maybe while Walkers here and Cochrane is being tested we’re stuck with Arnold playing deeper. It’s a shame as I the first few months he offered a real goal threat and his conversion rate was far superior to all three of our strikers

Stevie Frail was there as well, so maybe it's Celtic and the English names are just to put us off.

Djoum very rarely crossed the half way line in Cameroons semi and final of that tournament. He was very much a holding midfielder, spreading it out from the back. But with this being the spfl he could be more attacking but with the right balance round about him. We haven't really had that since he arrived. We could get so much more from him.

Criticisms aside over the last few months, his quality just shows up where we lack elsewhere when he plays like that.

He's at the heart of almost anything dangerous we create.  Even off the ball he shows up our supposed more natural midfielders. How good is he at stealing the ball from the blindside?

Our midfield struggle to put in a decent tackle.

All roads lead to Gorgie

Best game for a while today although still a little short of his best. Why he was taken off and Stockton remained on was a head scratching moment for me. The free kick that Lafferty messed up near the end was crying out for another Jamie shot into the net.

Jaimie had taken a knock, he could hardly move. That’s why he was taken off.

Didn't notice Walker was injured but I still feel Stockton should have gone off and Lafferty should have gone up top with Moore in closer support.

Agree completely. Isma obviously doesn’t have lots of family friends in the Edinburgh area. Give me an Ismael Goncalves over a Jamie Walker every single day of the week.

On his game he's as good as anyone in the league. Just the complete lack of consistency that is so frustrating.

He has the talent and ability but lacks a top engine to take him to a higher level and Scotland caps We  would be as well keeping him until the end of the season rather than cashing in for a few quid
