Asset strip a well working profitable business. Glean over £1.2 Billion from it for your own personal gain. Take delivery of a £100 Million luxury superyacht whist watching the business struggle. Leave it to rot & go into administration and watch over 15,000 people lose their jobs just before Christmas.
Welcome to the capitalist tory ways.

You forgot to include tax dodging arsehole asking for taxpayers money to bail his company out.

They really believe their supporters, and the broader public, are zipped up the back. Unreal.

They can’t help themselves.

We are seeing hope for the world, at last, and they are just for singing Rule Britannia.

Everything is world beating for them. They are so like Trump, in the self congratulatory propaganda, that they look as ridiculous and shameful as him.

And yet we hear that the vaccine is being manufactured in Europe. So how does that equate to being separate from Europe? I readily admit I may have missed something there.

and yet EU still stuck in paper mountain to approve and roll out

well done UK

Repeating a lie doesn't make it any more true, it just proves that the truth doesn't matter to you.

FactCheck: Brexit did not speed up UK vaccine authorisation

So even if we were still a member of the EU, the UK regulator would have been able to take this decision on its own because EU law already allows it. Incidentally, that legislation took effect in the UK in 2012, long before Brexit was on the cards.

. . .

Since we published this article, we’ve been asked by several readers: didn’t EU nations decide to “move as one” when it came to vaccines? Wouldn’t that have slowed the UK down if we were still a member?

. . .

The German health minister, Jens Spahn said yesterday that it was a matter of choice: “We have member states including, Germany, who could have issued such an emergency authorisation if we’d wanted to. But we decided against this and what we opted for was a common European approach to move forward together”.

So even if Brexit hadn’t happened, we’d still have been entitled, under EU law, to opt out of the joint system and “go it alone” with the Covid vaccine.

Well done EU.

Not as slow as you, waiting on you  trying to man up   with the fact that the Tories are a bunch of lying , draconian, insidious bunch of corporate elect ,that serve their mates and  their own interests.

Tell me you think that repeating lies  over and over again makes them truthful??

And what's your "war", defending reptiles like this government??  Your definition of "keyboard warrior", applies more to you.

Birds of a feather do flock together.

Got a mailer this morning, gave me quite the laugh. Imagine that a politician can put this many words on a flyer, and not one of them is about the self-inflicted financial collapse hitting in four weeks.

Oh right, he doesn't have a plan for that because he's one of the ones doing it to Scotland. No pinning Brexit on the SNP I'm afraid, Dougie.

Ah well, at least there aren't any football referee action photos in this one eh?

Front line NHS workers aren't included in the public sector pay freeze. Everyone else in the public sector is getting a pay freeze though.

But the fact that police are getting involved in fraud relating to contracts should be causing lots of clenching at CCHQ.

Several billion quid has been handed out to friends&family of Tory party members for PPE that never showed up.

Why are the Government in such a rush to deport people?

Well, because under EU law, they can deport people back to any EU nation where they had passed through on their way to the UK.

Obviously, once we leave the EU transition period, this actually becomes harder as the EU will not accept them.

Bloody meddling EU making it easier to deport people :gok:
