More Tory lies

The lickspittles will hopefully damage their chances of positions in the next government if they continue to blurt out more ludicrous defences and pledges of loyalty.

Same with Dorries, her sole purpose in life is to defend that clown.

She’d do absolutely unspeakable things to cling on to power at this point.

Come on then who next for Health and Chancellor roles?

Of those left standing Raab is quiet so he will want Big Dog's job.  So Nadine and Truss?

If that’s meant to be some form of slam dunk it’s failed miserably . Love Kathy Burkes genuine woke ness , she’s a great friend to LGB not for political reasons because she just does . It’s natural to her not like Starmer et al

Native has been doing a great job as Culture Secretary so surely she will be a shoe in for Chancellor.

Sunak and Javid aren't really in Boris' favourites. They are also tossers

I see no reason why he can't go on for now.

His big problem is he's likely facing another no confidence vote. And there is a separate vote among the local branches which is what did for Teresa May.

They also fancy themselves as PM. The game is afoot I reckon.

Racism, they don’t want to see a family with a different skin colour move in down the road.

The world is turned on its head. It was the same with American populism. Shades of the 30s. We just have to hope that cool heads prevail. Not easy in this climate.

I don't know more than two bits about the ins and outs of the Westminster system but it certainly strikes me that anyone waiting on him to tender a resignation letter will be waiting much longer than is customary.

He will absolutely circle the wagons and try to hold on with his rump cabinet.

And good bloody luck to him.
He’s got all the big calls right.

Would that preclude Sunak from running for the leadership? Can’t see their voters picking him as PM.

Fair point. All those economists said that the trade limits that Brexit imposed would lead to crippling inflation well beyond what the rest of Europe was seeing, and did that happen?

This piece of shit said he has no interest or intention to serve another PM.  No mention of being there to serve the country.  No mention of serving the public.  He's there because of servitude to one man.

That's not what anyone should be in government for.  GTF.

That picture of him (JRM)  lounging about on the front bench like it was his own sittingroom just shows his disdain, his contempt for parliament.
The man is utter, utter ****.

One question for both Javid and Sunak though. The vote of no confidence in Johnson was just 1 month ago. Did they vote for him? If so what is so different about the past month in terms of competence, integrity etc highlighted in their resignation letters?

Something that should not be forgotten.

These two wankers have been whoring their integrity on the press runs standing up for Bunter since 'party gate' broke 9 months ago.

So they can ram their faux integrity right up their starfish. They're both tainted by bunter.

These resignations tonight are not just about BoJo.

Sunak and Javid are exiting just at the time after the peak of the getting being good and before the scandal blows on their own misdemeanours.

Big day for Spaffer.

PMQs followed by a grilling at the Commons Liaison Committee.

No doubt he'll put in a bullish Trumpian display of bullshittery.

Classic Tory party to appoint an Iraqi refugee to the most important job in the country while sending Iraqi refugees to Rwanda.

They don't see the irony.

So far we've had;

Good leadership

Getting the big calls right

delivering for the people

getting on with the job

EDIT: new one to the lexicon of bullshit = 'making decisions at warp speed' 👍

Effectively blaming the folk resigning for causing a split party. That's his underlying concern.

Decisions are made at warp speed is the cover for every misdemeanour, for every lie
