Cressida Dick, who appears to be utterly bulletproof, should be emptied at the same time as Johnson and whoever made the decision not to investigate at MPS should follow them too.

Yep. I’m guessing those actually on duty were told to keep there moves shut from above if anything at all was said at the time.

This has always been the most mental thing about it, the Met know exactly who was where, and when.

It's all recorded, every coming and going.

And they wouldn't investigate.

No surprise since the finger would point right back at them; at least in part.

Looking forward to the seethe and self combustion of the comrades that have Teflon Boris living rent free in their heads if he personally survives all this - as being hinted at today

it could be glorious :greggy:

Hope he does survive just for the comic value. It doesn't matter which party govern at Westminster or who's the Prime Minister as all of them are stooges!

It would have been shunted up the line. The poor feckers on the gates at Downing St would have no say on it.

Someone with a much higher rank will have made the decision that they turn a blind eye to what the staff in there get up to.

That's the person what should be walking, along with Dick.

Sajid Javid's brother. Nothing whatsoever corrupt about the PM's uni buddy being in charge of the Met or the health secretary's brother being a number 2. They're clearly the best people for the jobs.

If you ignore killing unarmed Brazilians.

Even Tory ministers think Tories are lying *****

I think this one is asking how TF you can dish out £4.3billion and lose it to fraudulent claims.

It was absolutely obvious in early 2020 that folk were taking the piss. It wasn't even loopholes; it was just queuing up, getting the money and effing off. I've got a builder pal who was saying at the time that all his central European buddies were pocketing thousands of pounds and heading back home, knowing that Brexit meant it unlikely they'd ever be back in the country. I'm sure it wasn't just them that took advantage. It was an absolute shitshow and anyone with any financial management nous would have put controls in place before freeing up the money.

Puts a potential hole in Sunak's candidacy to take over from Johnson but knowing how easily pleased Tories are by incompetent and fraudulent leaders, who knows?

Nusrat Ghani says she had to step down because people were uncomfortable with her being a Muslim.

Spaffer  "nope, don't know anything about it.  There's no evidence of that".

Nusrat Ghani says she told the PM 18 months ago when it happened.

Spaffer  "we should always take these allegations seriously.  I took them seriously when I was told 18 months ago".

Approached for comment about the allegations, Number 10 responded saying, “A group of staff working in No 10 that day gathered briefly in the Cabinet Room after a meeting to wish the Prime Minister a happy birthday. He was there for less than ten minutes.”

.... he only took 10 minutes this time to realise it wasn't a work event 😂

This is just going to continue to drip news of unlawful events held or attended by Johnson. There’s no way that nothing else took place between May and December 2020. Johnson, and his wife, has made enemies who won’t stop until they see the both of them humiliated by having to leave 10 Downing Street.
Johnson has blustered, conned and lied his way to the job of PM. He’s obviously crossed too many people along the way, and his wife seems to be anything but the sweet wee thing she likes to portray.
But for Covid turning up, not enough people would have bothered about his lying and deceit. His arrogance of his belief that he could get away with almost anything, due to him being the lovable rogue who sorted out Johnny Foreigner, has come back to bite him hard.
How anyone can still try to support or excuse him just shows how low the standards of the UK population have fallen.

I can here him now.

He was blindfolded then led there by Carrie and was unaware it was a party, he bitterly regrets going but he was duped into going and therefore blameless!

Also, remember when Boris claimed he was “furious” to see Tory staff members laughing about one of the parties they had,

a few days later it turned out he was at the party in question…

Tory voters eh, some laugh.

All the parties don't seem much of a big deal.

Until you look at what the rules were at the time.
