But I am getting severely pissed off with the nit-picking, self-indulgent, group think pile ons on this thread. I post what I think. If you don't like it, or agree with it, tough. The incessant, forensic examination of posts, questioning motives, why, how, where, is utterly pathetic, self-entitled nonsense. I will continue to post my views and challenge other opinions I disagree with. I won't however be engaging in any debates that attempt to seek or invent hidden motives or methods. Cade
HMRC is opening a new office in Newcastle. "Great, this is part of levelling up the north", I hear you cry. The office they're renting belongs to "Reuben Brothers (Newcastle) Limited", which when you look on Company's House, has a single shareholder, Taras Properties Ltd, registered in the British Virgin Islands. The Reuben Brothers themselves are Tory party donors and part of the consortium that bought Newcastle football club. So, HMRC, which is supposed to be trying to close offshore tax loopholes, is in fact using them to rent its own offices

Cade
In a development that will come as a surprise to nobody, Boris' plans for a bridge linking Scotland and Northern Ireland have been rejected. Not only is the project almost totally unfeasible from an engineering standpoint, even if could be done it would cost 335 billion quid. The alternative of a tunnel is also almost impossible and would cost 209 billion even if the engineering could be done.

Cade
We already have aeroplanes and ferries. A number of so-called ‘intelligent’ colleagues jumped to his defence with the usual guff about, “that’s just Boris” and “I really like him” and “there’s nobody else competent”. Sweet Jesus. I'm sure the universities could have carried out the testing themselves given half a chance.

The Randox connection to Tories/Owen Patterson & his missus should be cause for concern. Owen Paterson’s wife, I believe, was the chairperson of Aintree Racecourse, which hosts the Grand National which is now sponsored by Randox. Randox was given a huge contract by the goverment for Covid testing, which has been alleged, was influenced by Jockey Club representation. Dido Harding is also connected within the Jockey Club. There is a definite stink of corruption in this Paterson affair. It is a real shame that Paterson’s wife took her own life. Terrible for her family. Instead of trying to use that tragedy to garner sympathy for himself, to get him off being found breaking rules and suspended, maybe Paterson and his chums should have asked themselves how they may have contributed to the poor woman’s death. I wonder if Johnson and Rees Mogg were afraid that Paterson might reveal some information about the Covid contracts that they would rather weren’t in the public domain, so had to be seen to support him.
