Big game this Sunday.

My team would be

Hamilton

Struna Hughes Souttar Sowah

Nowak*

Walker Buaben* Cowie* Martin

Johnsen

* Providing all 3 are fit.

Predicting a defeat here but can only turn up and hope for the best.

Anyone any idea how many fans are making the trip to this game?

Seen the other thread. But its not a official match thread.

Lets have a go at them, get guys like Nicolson more minutes under their belt as well

                   Hamilton

Struna- Hughes - Souttar - Sowah

Walker - Nowak - Cowie - Nicolson

                      Martin

                     Johnsen

1-0 win, their unbeaten run needs to end sometime soon and why not us to end it

I'd be tempted to put Nicholson in ahead of Bauben if he is fit.  Even if for only 60 mins.

Think Nowak for Kitchen is the right call, it's the perfect game to show the difference.

Nicholson still not match fit, but we're so unlikely to win against Celtic at Parkhead he might as well play to get some game time:

Struna    Souttar    Hughes    Sowah

                     Nowak

     Cowie      Martin    Nicholson

             Walker

                       Johnsen

Team: Hamilton, Struna, Hughes, Souttar, Sowah, Nowak, Kitchen, Cowie, Walker, Martin, Johnson

This is one of the games this season which will actually suit Kitchen's style of play. If we win Kitchen and Nowak will have had great games I reckon.

Park the bus and hope for the best. Can see us taking a pumping unfortunately.

Only positive will be getting Nicholson more game time, I'd hope he will give him the last 30 mins or so.

Nicholson is nowehere near ready to start a game. He was struggling on Wednesday and needs to be brought back gradually. Parkhead is a big pitch and he will be knackered after about 30 mins.

Best to have him on the bench and give him a run out later in the game. Maybe we should try Oshaniwa in the wide left position with Sowah behind him. I saw he was on the bench on Wednesday and to be fair to him probably the best game he has played for us was at Parkhead.

Let's face it nobody really expects us to win so it might be worth a punt.

Aye as long as they don't get in each others road like they did last Sunday.

Pal just pointed out to me that William Hill have put it best:

Hearts to win: 7/1

Ryan Christie First Goalscorer: 11/2

What's the odds on Broon getting a red card?

20000/1 because he won't get one.

As Coral says those odds are on something highly unlikely to happen

This would be the team I'd pick, but I think Kitchen will be in for Nowak.

Got no idea what to expect. When the team Cathro's building finally clicks I reckon it could beat Celtic on its best day, but that day might not be Sunday. Even a draw would be a huge result for our head coach, but the main thing is we show plenty of fight. The really big game is the Rangers one.

Heart says 1-1, head says 2-1 to them.

It would be go to see how we handle things if we actually scored first against them at Darkheid

I don't know, but unlike Christie, he is not on loan to Aberdeen.

Scored first in April and we crumbled.

Maybe have that Friday feeling but I just stuck a Tenner on at 10/1 at Wullie Hills on a Hearts win.

Feck it. Dafter things have happened.

Mon the Hearts!

Nothing to lose, really, but I don't see us getting anything.  I can't see Sam being anywhere other than on the bench.  He looked absolutely knackered on Wednesday.

Wouldn't risk Nicholson in this game. We are getting zero points on Sunday. Why risk Nicholson, when we could give him an extra few days rest before the Rangers game.

Agreed.  Impossible for him to be match fit yet, and it showed the other night.  Play him at least 45 on Sunday to help his lungs get back for Wednesday and onward.

If we park the bus we get beat. If we have a go we risk a pumping. I'd rather have a go. Celtics defence is rarely tested.

Really important the new signings continue to get game time and hopefully a run out for Sam too. Think Currie deserves another run out after a great performance midweek and lets face it, we have nothing to lose away at Celtic Park so why not.

Perry Kitchen is becoming a bit of an issue as captain, think he needs dropped to be honest.

Hamilton

Struna
Souttar
Hughes
Sowah

Cowie
Martin
Buaben

Walker

Currie
Johnsen

It's nice that the squad has a few options now, but this match is really a write-off. Celtic are too strong and we're too naive in defence to keep a clean sheet. Having said that we managed it with Oshaniwa at left back last season buy that Celtic team was much worse that the current one.

Would be delighted to leave with a point on Sunday tbh.

It will be a defeat but it's the manner of the defeat. Let's see if we can create a few chances and maybe get a goal or two of our own as still away from home we fail to create enough chances.

At the back we are still suspect tho and with the new players. Think Celtic will score at least 4

Think we've played Celtic 17 times since the semi in 2012 and lost 16, drawing 1 and conceding 50 odd goals. Nothing to suggest in our recent form that we're going to buck the trend. Looking forward to going through nonetheless and if we get something then even better. Plenty of Don Revvies in Glasgow post match regardless of the result.

Smith

Nowak

Hughes

Oshinawa

Struna

Walker

Souttar

Bauben

Sammon

Need to be solid organised and scrap for every single ball. I think this would be the best team to do that job.
