Gavsy Van Gaverson

Longstone Road at 0:57?

I think so.

I think it is a brilliant trailer. Hopefully the film lives up to the hype.

Interesting. It's a while since I read the book 'porno' which definitely looks like the film is following looking at the trailer. I can't wait for this. That trailer was superb

A shocking error.

My grandad drunk in the busy bee. Remember him taking me for 'milk' at the co-op next to it...and he'd sneak in for a couple of halves without my gran knowing while I hung about outside or on a wet day I got sat in the corner while he played doms!

Defo in the Saughton catchmount not stenhouse...the cross is where stenhouse begins in my book anyway!

Thought they might have done more Iggy Pop stuff - his current album, Post Pop Depression, with Josh Homme and Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) is really good.

Too much of Young Fathers on there - I really don't like their stuff.

Wolf Alice are really good - got their album with a free EP from HMV on week of release.

Will have to give the Wolf Alice album a listen. Keep meaning to after seeing them on Jools Holland a while back.

Is this in Edinburgh? If so, how do I get there?

At first I thought this was along the West Shore Road along from Granton but I'm not sure it is.

I suppose they are an Edinburgh band at least.

Dusk_Till_Dawn

Can't wait to see this.

Fully prepared for the likelihood of it being well overhyped but I really don't care.

Watched Trainspotting at the weekend past - its been years since I last watched it. Thoroughly enjoyed it - standout was Sick Boys Bond dialogues (see below).

T2 I have concerns about - I wish DB had just left the legacy be. Hopefully I am proven wrong.

"Ursula Andress, the quintessential Bond girl. That's what everyone says. The embodiment of his superiority over us. Beautiful, exotic, highly sexual and totally unavaiable to anyone apart from him. Shite. Let's face it. She can shag one punter from Edinburgh, she'd shag the whole lot of us."

Jambo dans les Pyrenees

"Choose to watch history repeating itself"

Folk saying that it looks like the first film.

I believe Kelly McDonald gets naked in the T2 as well; so I'm ok with repetition.

Say What Again

Read mixed reviews since the critics saw the film last night. The Independent gives it 5/5 and there's a few 4/5, but plenty of 3/5 ratings which basically say it's great to see the old characters back for nostalgia, but the film is pretty average (which is kinda what I expected).

I see Mr B Welsh makes an appearance in the film.

https://www.facebook.com/T2Trainspotting/

Correct,he's even got the T2 poster of the cast in the toilet cubicles and he's been included,it'll not be long before he's posting all about his night as he loves himself and publicity, he's got a healthy crowd that seem to sook up his arse so he'll be happy.

Acht Welsh is alright in my books. Dishes out and takes it in equal measure. Just because he supports Hibs isn't a reason to rip him. Pitty him though. yes.

try this location chief...to me its at the old Leith railway yard`s sidings parallel to Marine Esplanade.
an industrial location it is and of the main drag as it were, its a busy road which takes you round to a little seen part of the docks where there is storage facilities and Neil Williams Haulage`s refuse terminal(****ing horrible in there) also a retired discharge point where the imported coal from Poland was up to a few years ago was unloaded onto the trains for the power stations around Scotland from a dock.

Is this in Edinburgh? If so, how do I get there?

Saw Bradley's spot in a clip on Facebook earlier. ****ing shit. Definitely Welsh's influence getting him the role. Not an acting bone in his body.

I take it the Edinburgh Helping Hands group will be out collecting for their food bank, with Trainspotting2-emblazoned banners at Fountainpark tonight? Great chance to raise awareness for their cause and get lots of donations.

But it will be presented in a different way.

He's a disloyal person who abandoned his mates and took their money and lived the good life on it. Crooked and not to be trusted, and naturally that type will support a club with those same moral values leaving behind the virtuous beloved club of his youth.
