The event that closed the garden was the unveiling of a plaque to Alex Young by the Everton Former Players Association

The Tynecastle Terrace entrance is closed today.

Entrance to the Museum and Memorial is only for those attending the Family Fun Day.

If you're coming along you can get your photo taken with the East of Scotland Shield and the 1998 Cup Final Ball.

Is there any access to the concourses to take pictures of the Main Stand as the diggers eat away at her Enclosures ( ooo errrr ) ?

Was told by a steward yesterday NO ! as it's a building site and i need building site hard hat and high vis jacket.

The Museum will be closed for the 2 home games on Saturdays

22nd July and 29th July.

This is due to it being used as the replacement for 'The Directors Suite' while work continues on the New Stand.

Hungry hippo

How have visitor numbers been recently? Interested to know how many repeat visitors we will get. I really enjoyed my time there but I've got to admit that I'm unlikely to return soon as I doubt there would be much new to see.

That's not a criticism in any way but just the nature of a very small museum.

We had over 600 in June. Now had over 8,000 since we opened.

We are planning some special events in the Museum for next season.

Just a wee question Davy - have they found anything new while demolishing the stand?

Can but hope bro. Was in Gorgie yesterday and bumped into Davey. First time in the museum. I was really impressed. Had a good chat with the lads there. Was trying to get home early but got fixated on the video.
