One of my strongest childhood memories is being in Blackpool on holiday in that mad hot summer in the late 70’s (78?) and there was a massive lightning storm and sitting at the window of the hotel we were staying in watching lightning hitting the church opposites spire several times.

Nice. I'm too young to remember that summer but i do love a good lightning storm. I don't think I've ever seen the actual lightning strike. It would be great to see
