Bought John Le Carre - Our Kind of Traitor, never read a book of his.

John Prebble - Culloden and

Ken Kesey - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, all for £1.50 at my son's School Christmas Fair?

My street is just black ice today, like an ice rink. I was trying to walk to the train station but kept on slipping back down the road. Lovely neighbour took pity on me and gave me a lift, otherwise I’d still be there.

I passed my theory test today ?

I dropped 30 marks over the 2 tests which I'm gutted at.

Now for the practical. Good luck.

Gavin McInnes, founder of some now-outlawed extremist group and groupie of paedophilia-marketing rodent-boy Tommy Robinson has been entirely deplatformed from the internet.

Show cancelled, banned from Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Rodent.

She's got some epic Christmas decorations. Should be good to come back to tonight.

Meantime there's a brilliant wreath this year on the front door. Always a feature every year. Will see about getting a picture.

:yas:  Well done!!

I won the Hospitality Package for 2 for the St Johnstone game on the 26th of January, and I'm genuinely more excited by that than for Christmas! :D

Apparently my father-in-law is refusing to leave his house this morning, which will result in him and the ogre-in-law not making it down for Christmas. My smile is as wide as the fat ogres belly!

Father Ted Christmas Special on Channel 4 just now. Even though I have the DVD somewhere and they're all on All4, it still gets me in the mood for Christmas when it comes on.

5 people in the whole train carriage, I wish my commute was as serene every day.

I’m just picturing you sitting on the train humming ‘I Wish it Could Be Christmas Every Day’.

First Christmas with the grandson.

Wee man was in fine form. Full of smiles since he got here.

Stuffed his face and has passed out in his buggy now though.

I left for work at 04:30 this morning with a smile on my face as when I get home the in-laws will be gone.

If someone out there's ****ing with me and the trains are messed I'll be driving the arseholes back to Cumbria after work!

When are they due back for a visit? I think they should stay more often as I really enjoy hearing about it all. ?

Indeed.

Last years 'jobby on the bathroom floor' escapades were a hoot.

Hopefully never. The old guys dementia (that the old dear won't admit he has) is progressing at an alarming rate. I don't think she's mad enough to even think about trying to come here before my boys birthday in November and I reckon he'll be too far gone by then even for her to make him.
