With a population of 500,000 plus lots of outlying regions before you reach another city, the fan base of hearts is from a vast and very diverse group of people. There was a huge Wimpey site in Penicuik and we went foraging for hard hats when it was closed. My mate Dave's dad was ace at painting them. All the younger guys on our bus had them.
