Yes it was a bit daft and villa fans might think its a kick in the balls after that result but another way of looking at it is, he's obviously had a bad day at work and wanted to blow off some steam. I've never really understood some people that go bananas because a player goes out for a drink after a loss. Just because they go for a drink after a game doesn't mean they don't care about the club or give 100% in games or at training. If i had a bad day at work and i knew i wasn't working the next again day (article doesn't say so if he was training the next again day then fair enough) most of the time id like to go out for a drink too. Yes, it wasn't very professional but at the end of the day he's a 20 year old laddie. Again, not condoning it as i do think he should be punished, i just think some of the faux outrage at this stuff, like calling him a "rat" is a little ott. He's a very promising player and has talent yet back in April was warned by Tim Sherwood because he was sniffing something (can't remember exactly what it was). There was also of photo of him on Holiday and he was absolutely comotosed. He needs to remember he represents a football club at a high level.
