First 5 games and we're gonna win the league, Robbie's brilliant, Levein's the top man, Queen Anne's unstoppable, our squads tremendous, we are unbeatable, great signing policy which is the best we've had in years etc; etc; etc

Our squads no good enough, our manager and FD are no up to it, too many bad signings, will we ever win again, no chance of 3rd, get this one oot and get that one oot etc; etc; etc

 

 

 

See where this is going?

 

 

After Celtic we have a few winnable games and if we do go on a run then ARE WE GONNA WIN THE LEAGUE AGAIN.

 

Get real and smell the coffee.

 

This season was always gonna be a roller coaster ride with so many new players adapting to the hurly burly they call Scottish football. It takes time to make these adjustments and with others on our books who are still young and learning their trades in the big league it was always gonna be a journey.

 

Admittedly our management have made some mistakes, most notably in my opinion playing some players out of position. We are at our best when we play with width and we do have some of the best wide players in the country at our disposal.

 

Hopefully our management get back to playing our best team and with players playing in their correct positions. The management must not become too pig headed and continue with the policy they appear to have adopted by playing strikers as wingers, wingers as midfielders or indeed wingers not playing at all.

 

That said, the continuing improvement all around our club over the past 2 years is somewhat remarkable and I for one am pretty damn pleased to see where we are in such a short space of time. We are 3rd in the league with a squad which is in the early stages of gelling together. For anyone who thought we were gonna win the league or even challenge then I say to you GROW UP AND STOP PLAYING FOOTBALL MANAGER.

 

The fans need to stick with the team, through thick and thin. There will be ups and downs but we have our club who are making good progress.

 

From the very realistic chance we would not have a club to support to having our club sit 3rd in the league aand all in the space of 2 very short years, and yet some fickle people moan about all things Hearts.

 

So what's it gonna be? are we here to be bloody pessimistic or realistic about where we have come from and where in the LONG TERM we may end up.

 

Get behind the team and stay behind them. Stop being a bunch of bloody wimps who demand change every time something goes wrong.

 

C'MON THE HEARTS!!!!!
