Moretti without any doubt.

A far superior beer.

Moretti to Peroni is like Stella to Tennents.

la piu bella birra in Italia

Rand Paul's Ray Bans

The Italians themselves wouldn't touch Peroni.

Moretti is better, but it isn't exactly brilliant.

Moretti is better but both are nothing special.

Peroni has done well due to clever marketing.

Peroni, the Italians drink more Peroni, they call it something different though. I think both are quite nice. I think in Italy Moretti is the cheap one.

From a bottle - Peroni

From the tap - Moretti

This. Peroni from a bottle isn't too bad.

Had a few pints of Moretti when I was at Gigi's (Italian restaurant in Bonnyrigg) and it was a nice pint.

All these mass produced, commercial lagers are piss water. Get some craft lager/beer and educate yourselves. Peasants.

Must admit that I am partial to a Peroni although I prefer Staropramen. My favourite foreign lager is Estrella Damm. Only seem to find it in bottles, does anyone know where it is sold on draught.

Only ever seen on draft in Spain.

Off the top of my head you can get it on draught in Treacle on Broughton street, pretty expensive though. Also Hamilton's in Sotckbridge.

Quite like either but give me an ice cold Staropramen any day of the week over those.

All tastes the same. Blindfolded you couldn't tell the difference.

That's nonsense. Unless you've got no taste buds.

Quite like Schiehallion just now. Nice crisp taste.

St. Mungos is a decent one too.

Tried the Innis and Gunn Lager Beer and was surprisingly unimpressed.

Only ever seen on draft in Spain.

Polwarth Tavern, Basement Bar and Kyloe / Huxley are the last few places I had it.

Lots of places in Edinburgh do it.

I prefer morretti.

My cousin sent me some Black Isle Brewary stuff, I'm not really an ale fan but their Blonde is very good.

Use to sell it in draught in All Bar One and Amicus Apple (now Boozy Cow - see other thread). Platform 5 may sell it. It is a very nice pint.

I'd rather drink Tenants than Peroni. Moretti isn't bad but nothing particularly special.

Czech lagers are infinitely superior to Italian.

I think you can get it on draft in the Constitution on constitution street. Sure I have seen it on draft in other places too.

It's very nice. I prefer Dos Equis, but NM is a very nice, refreshing beer.

Foresters in Portobello have that on draft, nice pint but couldn't drink too much of it. Pretty sure Foresters have Estrella on tap too.

They are. And the one most folk go on about, Staropramen, is utter guff. Many, many Czech and Slovak beers which are far superior.
