mir00005
Palmer to be chucked after this weekend. Sainz to move to Renault for the remainder of the season. It feels a bit harsh on Palmer, with only 3 races to go after this weekend. Plus the torpedo will regain his drive at Torro Rosso. mir00005
That's Massa retiring (again). Not tok many seats unconfirmed for 2018. I hope Di Resta gets the 2nd William's seat but since he doesn't bring much financially backing he will probably be overlooked.

CJGJ
Real trouble at the release for Raikkonen...one of the pit crew injured as the tyre was not changed He's out of the race Hamilton up to 3rd and tyres seem to be the deciding factor here with Vettel perhaps having to stop once more and the Mercedes going to the end of the race Alonso on target for a good finish as well Edited April 8, 2018 by CJGJ
jamb0_1874
The mechanic adjusted his leg even further in front of the back wheel as they wrestled to try and get the wheel off just a second or so before Raikkonen drove off. Kind of wished I didn't rewind the tv now, as its a shocker of a leg break.

After he stopped, he strolled back across the pit lane, never went over to see how the mechanic was and then just disappeared in to the back of the garage. Afterwards in the post race interviews, when he was asked how the mechanic was doing and what his injuries were, Raikkonen said that he didn’t know how he was, or what his injuries were and also said he hadn’t even seen what happened either. What a real nice guy and team player he is.

Bottas just did that differently today.

Tazio
I saw mentioned in an article that the Red Bulls sound different to the other Renault powered cars. I think this season is going to be one of constant rule checking, Ferrari have already had their halo wings banned and their power unit is to be looked at because of the way it collects charge. Mikey1874
People will most likely say its over after this weekend. Ferrari who made more mistakes in qualifying leaving Vettel 9th v Hamilton on pole need Hamilton's car to start breaking down. Shame when it looked like it could be a classic battle this year. Tazio
Formula 1 Drive To Survive on Netflix is an excellent documentary series following the whole of last season with a lot of access to the teams and drivers. With the notable exceptions of Mercedes and Ferrari. It also becomes very clear why there is a time lapse before pit radio communications are broadcast.
