Wilder is a big guy by most standards but when your opponent is 6’9” and 20st it’s too much of a difference. Especially if you’re not a clever or technical boxer. 132goals1958
If there were any doubt about Fury being up there with the best he dispelled that tonight. He has got everything in his locker and I can’t think of any others heavyweight who would get of the canvas twice and beat Wilder
SuperstarSteve
Incredible historical fight. Wilder has some amount of heart. That right hand that dropped him was as clean as they come. Thought he was finished when he went down the 2nd time. Fury for me is up there with the all time greats but wins over AJ and Usyk would seal the deal. benny
The ref knew Wilder was struggling.Asked the doc in twice. I was getting worried for Wilder the eyes were gone in the last 5 rounds. Fury brilliant again.Another brilliant fight,
Taffin
Glad I got up for that. Cracking fight. Excellent. If Wilder is respectful in the coming days he should bow out with his head held very high. Gutsy stuff from him, I hope he doesn't ruin it with more excuses. Fury, totally outboxed Wilder from round 2 really, aside from the big hits that put him down. Must be incredibly disarming to be a man with one shot that you've built a career off and see it land multiple times but have your opponent just get back up. Also, what a great laugh Tyson is when he speaks. Deserves all his success.
JackLadd
That was a sensational fight but I get the feeling Fury was not 100%. Not in as good shape or sharp as the second fight, covid or just taking Wilder too lightly who knows.

Fury rushed him from the first bell in the second fight and Wilder didn't have an answer. Wilder has had a lot of time to think about what went wrong in that fight. If he learnt the sport at the same age as fury he would have been an incredible boxer IMO. As it is just another decent athlete with an unbelievable right hand. Fury dealt with wilder and took his best shots over three fights. AJ would have crumbled in the 4th after being down twice. Was a brilliant boxing match and just goes to show when the best fight the best the entertainment and value of the sport rockets. Joshua v Usyk and fury v wilder trilogy - great stuff. Heavyweight boxing at its finest IMO. Hopefully more to come.
AlimOzturk
Also agree that fury was clearly not 100%. Only had about 6-8 weeks of a broken training camp due to issues.

Completely different fighter from his previous quick feet slick boxing but the change was all about setting himself in position with feet planted to deliver that finish. Doing that to your style, makes you an easier target to hit so he's took more shots last night. Plus he’s said he rolled his ankle in round 2 when he put wilder down so wasn’t moving freely due to that. These last 2 performances with sugarhill he has been a different fighter. He fights like a bear now but he can still slip most of the big shots. It’s amazing to watch him evolve into this different animal, he’s taking more risks with less emphasis on avoiding being hit. That’s great for the boxing fans because he is still vulnerable to the knockout from any fighter in the division, so the fight is always worth watching. Someone’s getting knocked out. You don’t watch the heavyweights for quick slick boxing, you watch for wars like that. Loved it

That should send shivers down the spines of Dillian Whyte and Joshua. Usyk is a different animal altogether he will try and outbox fury. I hope we see him fight all three of the above before he retires. Fury is beatable but it will take a monumental effort for it to happen. Whyte has got a tough fight against a 6 ft 6 southpaw Wallin to get through first then he’ll be the mandatory. A lot of pundits have wallin favourite for that one. As for Joshua he will get schooled again by Usyk tbh
