I'm looking forward to Tony v Khabib, then Tony v Conor.

Khabib and his crew bullying folk again, then playing the victim card when returned in kind. Tony's family this time.

I really like Tony such an exciting fighter. If he wins it really opens up the division for so many exciting fights , proper wars if he loses though Khabib just continues to dominate everyone until he retires.

The Women's title fight was amazing

It was supposed to be the main event and a style match-up that should have been the counter striker vs the unpredictable striker.  It was why I was mentioning Woodley.  One of his fights was boring as hell.  Can't remember who it was against, as most of his fights are boring.

The women's fight was amazing though. Joanna is a monster for fighting on in that state.   Amazing technical fight and shows how far the women's game has come on.  One of the best fights I have seen for a long time.  It shows you the difference when the match ups are on merit rather than income, or who people want to see.  Or recently, who Connor wants to fight.

Looking forward to Khabib vs Tony.  Really like them both, so kinda don't want either to lose.  Again, on paper it should be a good match-up.

I've watched a few of Woodley's fights and they were all boring.  Yeah, he was winning, but he was the worst champion when he was defending the title.  I think there was like 3 fights in a row that were boring as hell.   Yeah, you don't wanna get knocked out or submitted (like last night) but he was always boring to watch.

Glad he eventually lost.

It's frustrating af, because when he goes to town, he's a machine.

 It is.

I guess that's what happens when you become champion.  A win is a win.

I think that was the problem last night.  Stylebender usually goes on the offensive, but now he is champion, his game has changed.

She sure is, the slow -mo replay of her getting punched straight in the forehead when it was already like the above photo was brutal, but she just kept going and almost got her with the spinning fist at the end.

I honestly thought the Doctors should have stepped in and assessed that before allowing her to continue .

Do they not have that in UFC or do they just let the fighter continue until they are pan breed?

They do but it must be impeding their ability to fight and defend themselves or dangerous to their well-being.

This wasn't really either of those.

The injury to Rodolfo Vieira's eye was way more dangerous IMO.

Kind of think Adesanya was more timid than Romero.

Agree with the judges decision though. Romero didn't do enough. He left too much in the gas tank and I'm pretty sure he'll come to regret his game plan.

Adesanya Romero was pretty boring to watch but the right decision. Romero came out and for the first minute didnt move! He cant complain because the other fighter didnt engage in his plan and his post match chat was embarrassing. It takes two to scrap and he done sweet FA.

Fights will take place at the UFC trading centre in Vegas, without fans.  Televised.

tonights event is weird as ****.

Brazilian crowds are usually among the loudest and there has been some good fights but its totally quiet due to no fans in attendance.

however you can clearly hear the coaches barking orders to their fighters constantly which is usually mostly drowned out. I knew they did some but I didn't realise how much coaching goes on during the fight.

Has that been confirmed? Hopefully true as I really want to see this fight. Though as another poster said UFC without crowd was a bit strange.

Dana has posted a clip on YouTube.

The next 3 UFC events have now been cancelled. Khabib v Tony is still undecided.

Dana said he would reveal where the fight takes place today.Just cancel the thing and give it the spectacle it deserves when the crisis is all over.

Dubai or one of the north African countries is the likely venue. TBA soon.

Khabib v Tony off as Khabib is in Russia and Russia are not letting anybody out.

I'm glad it is off it does not deserve to be on in an arena in front of 10 folk that Dana was talking about.

Still looking for an opponent for Tony as Dana will do anything to try to make a dollar.

No danger McGregor would go near Tony.

He would get smashed.

No chance. 100% CM would knock Tony out, quick. I mind when Aldo and Alvarez were gonna smash him too. Just a pity he was too drunk when when in with Khabib.

Yeah.  Khabib beat him because he was drunk.

I don’t get why they are trying to find an opponent for Tony. That means Khabib v Tony ain’t happening anytime soon. Whilst I have no idea what ‘champ shit only’ tony Ferguson gets out of taking a fight and missing out on Khabib and Title Shot.

Why not just move fight to June/July have on the first fight card post Coronavirus UFC card.

Trying to get Ferguson to take a fight against anyone other than khabib makes zero sense.

Totally agree

Come on, do you thing Conor was 100%? And he still did ok and is the only man to take a round.

Khabib should be fighting at middleweight or light heavyweight. He's killing himself to make 155 so he can beat up smaller men. Yes! I know Conor did the same at 145.

Well it appears UFC 249 is on in APril. I have no ****ing idea how they are doing this or even why, but fresh sport is most welcomed righty now.

Headline bout between Ferguson v Gateje for interim title with winner fighting Khabib later in year.

Think Ferguson takes the bout rather easily.

Not convinced the event goes ahead if honest.

Just so the UFC can get PPVs.

****ing disgusting.

Behave yourself.

When was the last time he missed weight?

Khabib would beat McGregor at any weight.

I think Ferguson would completely smash him too.

Eh? He was rushed to hospital cutting weight for Tony . Why do you think he calls him tiramisu.

Conor is a fantastic fighter and on his game he'd beat both. I like Tony Ferguson , but if he tried to stand up with CM he be smashed. Khabib is just a wrestler, he can't fight sleep. And he'll be exposed when Ferguson uses Khabib's strengths against him.

You misunderstood my weight observation. Khabib should be fighting the likes of Israel, Tyron and Coby, feck even Jones and Reyes. He's a weight cheat, just like Conor, when he fought at 145 against Jose and Chad.

Yes weight cutting to fight smaller men is cheating.

I don't think you should be allowed to cut weight.

There should be an average weight class.   i.e   how much your average weight is over 3 years or so.  Including while not fighting or training.

But yeah.  Khabib would still smash McGregor.  McGregor can't wrestle.

I do think Ferguson would smash him too though.  Would be my number 1 fight to see.

I'm a big fan of both CM and TF because they'll fight anyone, anytime, anywhere. A couple of nutjobs! And Tony is self taught. Amazing!

Conor has good Jiu-jitsu he never uses, just like Gaitjae and Romero don't use their wrestling.

Justin could put Khabib in some real trouble if they fought, but I think he'd walk straight onto a left bomb from MacGregor.

I don't understand why JG and YR don't use their greatest strength. Weird!
