For what?

Looked like he either stuck the head on him, or pretended he was going to.

Jordan Forster took on McPake's role of head grass. He's probably outside Willie Collum's house protesting about it right now. Arse.

he certainly never butted him. Are we going to get a player banned for pretending to do something?

I think he'll be lucky of he escapes a ban. Mentioned his head towards the hibs player. If Gollum had seen it he was off.

I've seen it on TV since the game. If he gets banned for that I'll be amazed.

I seem to recall one of our players BEING head butted at pit tawdry a few years back and being sent off. That was upheld after review. So what do you think is going to happen to Walker? I foresee a ban for him and a "no case to answer" for Stevenson.

Stubbs has selective vision shock... see below but no mention of his own sides dodgy penalty or Stevensons shocking challenge.. just an attempt to get our players in trouble......I wonder why.

'But Hibs were annoyed that Osman Sow was not penalised for a first-half elbow that left Michael Nelson with a wound above his eye. The Hearts striker was sent off for an elbow on the same player with two minutes left, just before Farid El Alagui pulled a goal back.

And Craig had to be escorted off the park as he remonstrated over a late incident during which the visitors accused Hearts substitute Jamie Walker of sticking his head into Lewis Stevenson.

Stubbs said of referee Willie Collum: "I've no qualms about the penalty, you can't put two hands on someone and push them. I'm not going to hide behind any decisions. But I think he missed one or two things.

"I think the lad has put his head on one of our players at the end, so it will be interesting to see what happens with that.

"I think before the elbow incident, there were a couple of other flying elbows.'

Just my opinion on it from what I saw at the game. Not seen it back on the TV yet though. It'll be interesting to see if they pick it up tonight or not.

Walker let himself down whether provoked or not

2 games into the season and we are two keepers, three strikers and our only right back down; the last thing our players should be doing is giving anyone the excuse to hand out red cards/bans

Only 4 Scotsman articles with Hibs players and managers (and useless journalists) cliping about Hearts players in their sports top stories.

Plus ca change. McPake goes but still the Hibs players and managers clipe.

Aidan Smith seems to have forgotten to leave out key phrases from his one - where are the "Stubbs' baby blue eyes", "his soft Scouse tones", "the new Hibs manager's love of 90s music" etc.?

Stubbs interview post match in hootsman, he cries about walkers "headbutt", cries about sows elbows. Backed up by "the admiral".

Totally reminiscent of wee pat / mcjakey's successful paper campaign to get stevo done the season before last.

Stubbsy finishes his tirade with the old favourite "we wuz robbed".

Who knows how the new compliance officer will view things, but Stubbs comes across very poorly, clearly immersing himself in the classless club he has joined

Did he mention the unnecessary hack at Walker that prompted his response? Probably not.

Exactly.

Why am I not surprised in the slightest that Lewis Stevenson's assault is being ignored by the papers this morning?

Given the club he played for in Scotland, he's like a fish to water. And he only blinks with one eye. 100%.

Did you see a couple of hubz players waving imaginary cards at the ref too, thats against tge rules also surely?

I have this horrible feeling Walker may be in trouble although if they pull him they have to do likewise to Stevenson I would think?

Its funny it doesnt matter how many player changes we make season after season even bringing in guys that are not overlly booked while elsewhere but put on a Hearts Jersey and you become bookable, think thats 11 yellows and a red in two games already.

Must say though Sow can hardly defend himself and if its just a style of jumping problem he will need to work on it

Unfortunately Sow's was a red he was jumping like that all game against Nelson ref should have had a word with him earlier. And if Walker is pulled up so should Stevenson.

As everyone has mentioned, unsurprisingly Stubbsy makes no mention of Stevenson's hack at Walker.

Having watched the incident on Sportscene last night, I think it would be very unfair for Walker to be punished. He squares up to Stevenson, but I didn't think there was any forward motion with his head, as in a 'headbutt'.

They really are a shower of whining faced rats. I'm developing a very healthy dislike for Stubbs already.

Imaginary cards were only an offence if it was a Hearts player doing it and Brines was the ref.

It is normally the press who 'push' for compliance officer involvement, Hibs show there class again by publicly asking for his involvement.

In all honesty I've not seen it again.

What I did see again was Stevenson going studs first in the corner. Straight red, easy.

Of course there is forward movement of jamie's head. If he gets pulled up for it he is a silly lad.

Don't care what anyone says if that forward movement is enough to prompt a ban then the game is a disgrace.

Also, if Lewis Stevenson isn't banned for violent conduct then Levein should be demanding answers from the SFA.

This, whilst stupid, Walker was in full control of his 'nod', from that distance if he wanted to headbutt him he would have.

At least he was man enough to face up to the Hibs players unlike Craig and Stevenson who cowardly attacked him from behind.

Correct Stubbs, mostly from Farid El Alagui. The number of times he went in with elbows or jumped into defenders with no attempt to win the ball and got away with it was ridiculous.

Typical Hibs deflection.

That was them at their optimal level which consisted of their forwards sitting on top of our defence when Hamilton had the ball to force him to kick it long then rely on Nelson winning the majority of the headers and them winning the second ball.

Nothing wrong with them making the game scrappy. We have no right to expect the opposition to make life easier for us.

Just means that the game is more likely to be won by a couple of touches of class or an error.

Thankfully we have that edge in terms of class. By the length of the Grand Canyon mind.

If it is deemed a headbutt for retaliation, then Craig and Stevenson have to be also hauled in front of the GFA beaks. Craig run across the pitch and pushed Walker of the pitch, which in my book, is as good as a headbutt. As for Stevenson, he should be a safe bet for a retro red card. Any confirmation that Craig was red carded in the tunnel after the game?

But hey, another glorious derby victory.

Should be interesting to see who takes Sow's place in the next game. El Hassnoui must be getting near fit and would like to see more of what Keatings can do.

Any mention of Scott Robertson trying to break a record for most fouls in a game or the H1b5 class antics of his captain?

Thought not. Nice to see that Stubbs in fully in tune with the requirement to have a crippling inferiority and persecution complex. Mind he will already have had a chip on both shoulders from his time at Selik.

Embarrassing stuff but no surprise. These are the only thing to hang onto to avert attention from their own shortcomings.

the wheatfield linesman(i don't call them assistant refs as they clearly can't make a descision on their own] runs whining to gollum at the end with his hand up at his mouth to cover his telling of tales, snidy wee git that couldn't officiate at solitair, I get the feeling he was ratting on Walker.
