Dusk_Till_Dawn
What a day that was. Got wasted at the cricket in Durham and didn’t bother watching because I assumed the vermin would finish it off. Best news bulletin on Radio 2 I’ve ever heard. Have some of that you toothless *****

Kiwidoug
Not looking forward to this. Being very old, I can't remember the result of the 2nd leg but being 2-0 up, Hibs couldn't lose. Surely.
been here before
I was digging up tatties in the back garden with it on the radio. Tatties never tasted so good.

martoon
That season must be the largest collective of Hibs'd its there are in one place. Licking their lips they were prior to the August derby. The lessons they were going to teach us after 30 years of pumpings: Hearts 1-0. They wouldn't mess up again when the League Cup tie came round. Jamie Mac, Stevo, Robbo directing from the bench: 0-1 Hearts. After a jammy New Year win, celebrated like a Cup final win, they'd really get into gear for their relegation party: 2-0 Hearts. They didn't even have the strength or energy for the last derby. We knew we'd win, they knew they'd lose. Add in all the other games in the run in when one win would secure safety it really was a Hibs'd it off epic proportions. Then came Hamilton. Counting down the minutes they were. Desperately holding on so they could, at last, at least, squeeze a vestige of pleasure at our relegation then...you know the rest.
