Season 2 of Happy coming up on Netflix next week. The first season was one of the most insane things I’ve seen on telly so high hopes for this season.

Just finished S2 of Happpy. Nowhere near as good as the first IMO but still some ROFL moments and plenty WTAF moments as well.

The writers must have been on PCP when they wrote this though!

Just heard of the latest new production from Sky Studios that's due to start filming, 6 part series called The Third Day, Jude Law playing the lead in what I can only describe as sounding like a new/modern day version of Wickerman

Intelligence.

Netflix series about Canadian organised crime and the law enforcement agencies trying to stop them - with all the double dealing, backstabbing, gloryhunting, corruption on both sides. Programme was allegedly pulled by the Canadian Government because they didn’t like how close it was to the truth.

Good Omens

Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy and the omen in a six episode series with a great cast.

Michael Sheen and David Tennant are spot on, expected it to be a bit darker but the humour works.

8/10

I'm surprised no one has seemed to mention " When they see us" ? It's a 4 parter on Netflix about the infamous case from 1989 when a white female jogger was raped in Central Park and the police stitched up 5 blAck boys , age ranging from 14-16 for it . They got convicted for it and served years in jail . I won't give any more away but it's a brilliant series with outstanding performances from the cast and in particular the young black actors and Felicity HuffmAn who played the main cop who vengefully pursued their wrongfull conviction at all costs ! And in a great bit of forwarning **** face Trump is in discussing his views about it and taking out ads to promote the death penalty for those innocent lads . He's only got worse .

Just finished it.

Great wee series but horribly sad.

Agreed. Really enjoyed but horrible what they went through. There's also a one-off programme hosted by Oprah Winfrey where she interviews the cast and the actual exonerated five. Worth watching.

Three episodes in myself, and loving it.  I almost didn't watch it, when I saw it had subtitles.

An Italian guy at work recommends Suburra. Anyone watched that?

Just finished the mini series Waco , a 6 parter and it was superb. Has quite a few of the Boardwalk Empire cast in it. That David Koresh was some boy. It’s based on one of the survivors account of events and is very different to what was reported. Fascinating stuff but distressing

Just finished season 3 of Stranger Things. Better than the last season which seemed a bit keen on being a horror programme. This is back to what they are good at.

I have to recommend "Inside The Factory" on BBC.

Each 1 hour long programme focuses on a product made in a modern factory, including the history of the product.

It's good.

" Dark" is very good. Its on Netflix and its a German sci fi kind of series. Mainly to do with time travellers. Plot is very intricate so you need to keep your eyes on the subtitles :) But its not bad at all. Not outstanding but watchable.

Does anyone on here watch Mr Robot?

Probably one of my favourite TV shows ever! It's not too popular as it's pretty niche but watch a few episodes on Amazon prime and see if it's for you.

Can't wait for season 4 to start!

Binge-watching The big bang theory on Netflix... its watchable, a couple of laughs. It satisfies the Nerd in me and Penny is super Fit....

And the episodes are only 25 minutes long..
