Two votes for Always Sunny, will give that a try first, then the others.

Be prepared, the humour is darker and more 'wrong' than Modern Family, but it's the funniest sitcom out there by a distance for me.

It's the anti-Friends. No super-nicey cringey stuff. Everyone in it is a ****. :D

Re-watching Arrested Development on Netflix. I'd forgotten how good this was before they brought out that crap follow up season several years later.

I've tried, my mrs loves it and I'm right up for inappropriate humour, but it's just too shouty for me.

Correct, I have watched it over and over. Fantastic stuff. Real edgy humour in a world where people are scared to say boo to a goose.

Finished The Last Dance last night. Dennis Rodman is amazing 😂 His antics after game 3 of the finals is incredible. One of the best sports documentaries I've seen.

Found it funny the first 4 series.

Downhill rapidly after that.

I'm looking for a replacement comedy for Modern Family, not something to binge watch, something funny enough to look forward to at the end of the week. Any suggestions?

Try C4 from 7am

Everybody Loves Raymond.

Cheers

Frasier.

3 hours of great comedy.

Just watched all 38 episodes of Money Heist on Netflix over the past four days & I loved it. I know spanish shows  can be a bit over the top but I still thought this was class. I hope they make more 8/10

The creators have another English speaking show on Netflix now called White Lines.

I gave up on Money Heist as it started getting overly drawn-out and daft

All the heist team taking off their masks, striking up relationships with the hostages and telling them really personal details about their lives etc

I was still living in Ibiza at the start of last year when Alex Pina was finishing the filming,  Overall I enjoyed the show but I was expecting a little more.

Rewatching the whole lot of The Sopranos (3rd time)

Watching white lines and it's just a rehash of Mad dogs.

Anybody not seen Mad Dogs.

Great TV.

S1 & S2 were great, not so much s3.

Edit

Memory's fading.

S3 was good, S4 was poor in comparison.

I always thought Mad Dogs was a sort of comedy, if not might give it a go.

So not a comedy?

I'll have a look for it. Is it on Netflix or Amazon do you know?

Didn't watch the original but there is an American remake of Mad Dogs on Amazon Prime that was good.

It's light hearted drama that makes you laugh out loud.

1st two series in particular, were really good.

You could liken it to Ozark. An enjoyable watch as the main characters get deeper and deeper in the shit.

We started watching HBO's Oz again recently, not seriously, just to see how it had aged really.

Brilliant, really brilliant. Yes it's 90s as hell, and incredibly violent, but it's so well made with great acting, powerful storylines and quality production values.

We got dragged right in again, I'll be gutted when it's done.

Watch Oz!

The Internet

Have started watching mr robot again from the start. Watched the first season a couple of years ago and liked it but got bored during the second season and gave up. Have heard seasons 3 and 4 are top quality so going to plough through it. First few episodes bring out the anarchist in you

Cheers for the Always Sunny in Philadelphia recommendation, I think I'll end up belt feeding it, there never seems to be anything decent on.

Of the other ones people recommended go for Parks And Recreation. It’s one of those American sit cons that beautifully crafted, and also very funny. Nowhere near as full on as Always Sunny which I also love, and I always feel really upped it’s game after Danny Devito arrived in it.

Wasn't always a fan of Stephen Graham, but I'm watching another good performance by him, in Little Boy Blue.

I thought Parks and Recreation nose dived after season 3. It got way too nice and sickly sweet.

I agree it's VG. I have tried to watch it, burnt it must be my age, as I can't stay with it too long. I did like the scary assassin with the facemask tho. And the other one who sold cutlery (I think) Or is that a different show?

Can't stand her from trainspotting, maybe that's why I lose interest.

Yeah, he was great in it. As for Kelly McDonald, I’d absolutely destroy her🤗

Apparently there's no guaranteed deal in place for a fourth season yet. :(

Just about to start on ITV.

Little Boy Blue.

Anybody not seen it, well worth it.

Tragic true story of a Everton daft boy, shot by a stray bullet in a gang  fight in Liverpool.

Really well done in a heartbreaking story.

Another great Stephen Graham performance.

“ The Handmaids Tale” Just started to watch this , will watch more tonight . Initially I thought this couldn’t happen but it’s scarily accurate  . It Begins with women being subjugated , not allowed to work , then not allowed to have money , then viewed as “ sluts” , martial law then a Civil war due to a “ threat “ ( Terrorism )  finally all rights taken away from them , and a new world order established with religion underpinning its laws . Gays / lesbians  / political dissenters strung up . It so relevant to , in relation to America , Actually am alarmed at what Matt Hancock said yesterday when asked about the “ test and trace App “ saying currently it’s voluntary but “ may “ become mandatory . Worrying times , just replace the threat of “ Terrorism “ with corona virus 🦠and you get my point . As the main character says the change didn’t happen overnight , it’s gradual . As an aside Elisabeth Moss is an outstanding actress . Best actress around today .
